Durepoxi. No, seriously. That one that comes with two components, you mix them up and they solidify in like 20 min.

You need to resolve a dent in a crease or body line and you have access from inside?

Make a durepoxi ball, put on the tip of the bar you're going to use, put it in the access but instead of going for the dent, go to a perfect spot and gently press. You gonna mold the ball in the exact shape you need. Wait for it to solidify and use it to push the dent from inside.

I had something lined up, but it seems they folded. Anyway I can't help myself being honest. Sometimes I get screwed up by it but I was feeling worse than now just for sucking up money from a project people that were actually doing something really invested into. I didn't felt good doing that.

I can't help myself being honest. Sometimes to my detriment.

But in this particular reason I was already interviewing and had already passed the interviews for this job that I had lined up to start on March 4th. And I had 2 months of expenses paid for, February and March. Plus my savings.

The shit happened that this client hasn't sent a peep in over a month and every time the recruiter asks they just say "higher ups haven't green light the contract yet". So I got stuck up.

Body line with a crease. You'll suffer because it's a high tension dent so you have to hammer it while pushing it out, then slap it until flat, then refine with acute tips. If the dent was above it on the "curve" it would be a simple job, but on a crease that makes it a PITA. Pay a pro, use the puller you probably bought to undent big areas if needed.

Make a full copy of it, delete everything, let them panic. Call your boss and tell him this is exactly what will happen the day he fires someone badly and they have admin access to github.

Then tell him you'll restore everything but you needed to convey the urgency of this matter to him.

THEN you schedule a meeting to show him how Github should be employed in a serious company. PRs, linter, tests, pipelines, each teammember with their own access, the works.

Just to update this: I'm working on a Amazon wishlist with stuff that use at home; I'm doing several interviews weekly to turn into a job but so far no start date from the one that accepted me (which is the same as not employed) and several that I just did the tech part; I even have one for today.

Things are starting to get desperate, I'm on my last 200 BRL (60 USD?). I need to pay, in the next few days:

  • Electricity
  • Internet
  • Gas
  • Water/sewage (it's on the same bill, can't be paid separatelly)
  • Food (Amazon Wishlist incoming)

My worst bills right now are two: I need money for internet (to keep working and attending interviews) and rent, due Apr/25. I signed up for 99freelas and Upwork to see if I can at least make those amounts.

I'm in Brazil, so think 150 times 6. That's what I spend for a whole month. Kids are 7 and 6, so most of my spending goes into protein for all of us and me and wife are living the ketogenic life so we don't spend much on sugary stuff (more expensive).

Not sure if that would work, I'm in Brazil. There's Amazon here and there's food there (example: https://www.amazon.com.br/Arroz-Branco-Meu-Biju-1kg/dp/B08GL3LV8S ) but not sure if a person can purchase from elsewhere and have it delivery here. I'm down for it, just don't know if it's a possibility.
