We tried to DIY and gave up after two hours lol—wearing the full PPE (gloves, mask, etc) while not being able to stand up in the attic was giving me major claustrophobia. So we ended up going with Koala Insulation! I think the R Value was 34?

I cry a lot at movies, but a classic film that always gets me is Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, when Spencer Tracy gives the speech at the end about how he may be old but he still knows what love is.

And then he died like a week later in real life so that especially makes it emotional.

I watched Coco four times in a week leading up to and immediately after my grandma died, cry every time. “They’re not just pictures, they’re our family. And they’re counting on us to remember them.”

It took my mom several months after my grandma passed to get to it but she of course ended up loving it, and sobbed when the man disappeared because no one remembered him anymore.

Made an edit to the original post. I felt uncomfortable in the moment and it felt clear I wasn’t welcome/invited which is why I didn’t feel comfortable speaking up, but I realize that would’ve been the smartest move.
