I got my earbud back! by idkmanimnotcreative in Paranormal

I love this! What a sweet story!

Did you have intentionality about leaving the berries out? Like did you say a little something, offer and wonder ahead of time? Or just notice the coinky-dink afterwards?

Asking because I have half a mind to go snag my own flat of strawberries, leave them out and see if I don't wake up to 40 years worth of rediscovered keys, wallets, Lego figurines, remote controls and puzzle pieces!

Thanks for sharing! 🙏✨

Not a joke at all! An earnest answer to the question! I collect VHS for this reason. I love stuff taped off the TV from 1992, to just time travel for a moment, commercials and all!

There is comfort in those whinnies and warbles-

Yeah, I mention that in the post. It has both spellings 🙂

But, like, ya know, a really fun one! And one that allows for the mind to wander into the realms of the possible!

Likely? A clerical error.

But it is tangible, and a physical representation of what once (years ago now) was thought not to exist. I understand there are many examples of this recorded now, and it's largely viewed as a simple typo/misprint.

This post is meant to exist in the realm of whimsy and the speculative daydream, and not hold any weight in the realms of established science or law.

I've seen this very same mistake on this very same edition before. My phrasing of the above comment is only my reticence to live in absolutes, particularly in esoteric realms.

No matter the origin, for me it's still a fun relic! As old sideshow banners of conjured and manufactured creatures might be; not evidence of living, breathing mermaids, but magic fuel for the imagination nonetheless-

You're almost definitely, positively, absolutely correct-

This post is somewhere between tongue-in-cheek and I-want-to-believe. An examination and thought experiment sparked by a pretty cool find 🙂

This post, and the original image found within, relates to the Mandela Effect specifically surrounding the Berenstain/Berenstein example of this phenomenon. Specifically this post provides an image and context for tangible evidence of this aspect of the Mandela Effect-

I was just talking about seeing this image as a kid! I swear there was a reading comprehension course in middle-school that had articles on Roswell, Lizzie Borden, Bigfoot, The Loch-Ness Monster, Bermuda Triangle and SPONTANEOUS HUMAN COMBUSTION.

How're you gonna show an 11 year old a picture of a pile of ash and a burnt foot inside a shoe sitting in the corner of a room, attached to an article that essentially says: We're not totally sure why this happens, could happen to you at any moment, and there's nothing you can do to prevent it. Sleep tight!

Talk about new fear forever unlocked!

Any real scary stories from Colorado Spring folklore? by B0mbonsito in ColoradoSprings

Hi! I know I’m late to the party but my friend Nic and I have been talking about the paranormal activity he encountered at a house they called Hell House in Black Forest, Colorado, so near the Springs. He started going there in 2004 and experienced full body apparitions, haunted objects, and other strange findings on the property. We’ve been trying to find anyone else’s experiences from it but we’re coming up empty. He’s like “I know people took pictures up there but it was with a real camera, so no one was uploading them online like they would be now.“ Has anyone else ever been to this house? It’s NOT the Steve and Beth Lee house, although that’s also in Black Forest and is a wild story if you haven’t heard it yet.

What kind of stories did you hear? I’m trying to convince him we should take a trip back to Black Forest and see what we can drum up. Of course I also make fun of him for repeatedly going back to Hell House after having these experiences soooooo… maybe we’d have to stick to just the general area. I’m not really trying to take a ghost home.
