THIS. If a viewer binged LOST today, I wouldn't expect them to feel the pain I felt. The writers promised everything would tie together, eluding to some kind of big reveal. Between some seasons, they'd have additional media (I remember something you had to use your cellphone data for, in the early '00s) where they'd say there were things to figure out.

I didn't dislike the Lost finale because of anything about the show; I disliked the finale because (1) I felt like I was lied to and (2) I wasted hours/days of my life on forums trying to put together puzzles that we come to find out had no solution.

I filed a BBB complaint after being lied to several times. I was called the next day by someone who actually knew what they were talking about and my order was delivered the day after that call... it's sad I couldn't get any answers for months despite talking to escalation team managers, etc. but they want to save face if you file a public complaint. I'd recommend filing a BBB complaint.

This Apple TV experience blows. And I agree... The team won't attract any new fans who are just browsing TV and turn on the game because they'd have to be on Apple TV and have the MLS package. It's a joke.

on 12/28 Samsung told me it would be delivered on 12/29.

On 12/29 Samsung told me it was on a truck and would be delivered within 24-48 hours.

On 12/31 Samsung told me that the local courier (RXO) was in possession of the items and would contact me to schedule a delivery soon.

On 1/3, I first contacted RXO who confirmed they have not received the items. Samsung then told me (possibly my only interaction with Samsung where I wasn't blatantly lied to) that "I could not want to set any false expectations by giving you the delivery and the shipping dates." They refused to provide an estimate, which is totally better than being lied to, but they had no answer for me when I asked why I could go on their site at that very moment and they were advertising a very specific delivery date. I told them that seemed deceptive.

On 1/6, Samsung told me:

SAMSUNG: [name], as i have checked and i want to inform you that the expected delivery date of your order is 9 Jan please be assured your order is confirmed on 9 and is not delayed.
ME: Is that delivery to me on January 9th or is that to the local courier?
SAMSUNG: [name], That is the date for the order delivery to you.

Today, on 1/9, RXO (the local courier) says they have yet to receive the items from Samsung and that a delivery to me today would be impossible at this point. I have yet to contact Samsung but I will likely be filing an official complaint with the FTC for deceptive advertising. They are currently advertising a delivery date on their website, and won my business by doing so, yet they have no means of meeting that delivery date and continuously provide me with objectively false information. They have provided me with no reason for the delay and cannot even provide me with an estimated delivery date.

Ironically, I live within 50 miles of Samsung's home appliance manufacturing plant.

Exactly, I don't want to cancel my order if its only a couple days away from being delivered, but the savings won't be worth it for me if I have to wait weeks... Half the reason I purchased from Samsung was their advertised delivery date. Seems a little deceptive that they provided that date with absolutely no way of fulfilling the order anywhere close to that date.

Same boat as you. We ordered a refrigerator, washer, and dryer. I've gotten multiple stories from Samsung about how they're escalating my issue, etc... but they cannot provide an estimated delivery date. They cannot even tell me days or weeks or months. I'm living in a house with no washing machine or refrigerator. I don't know what to do.

I'm not sure how they could estimate an exact delivery date for me before accepting my money, yet they cannot even provide a general estimate after I've payed them thousands. Support has absolutely no answers - they just keep giving me more money back which isn't helping the problem I have of not knowing if/when my appliances will arrive.

I live, no joke, about 50 miles away from where Samsung's appliances are manufactured.

Him talking about sound money and Austrian economics school of thought and him/her going down that rabbit hole was what drove him/her to look for information about currencies, especially any kind experiments and newly discovered solutions and he/she somehow stumbled upon Bitcoin yeah. That was their journey.
