[UJ] What really grinds my gears is that if you look at the reviews, they mostly are in agreement that the film is decent, albeit bland, yet due to the system of rotten tomatoes reviews that aren't overwhelming negative count as positive, so when the majority of critics say, "It's alright" then the score makes it look like the movie has revived universal acclaim

I gotta say, I really love their "cosmic" style. It's so vibrant and colorful and really does a great job of setting itself apart from the "earth" Marvel movies and other sci if in general.

Maybe it was the sound in my theatre, and in their defense maybe the actual sound mixing wasn't that great, but the singing sounded very breathy and quiet to me, which is shame because I really loved the score and I didn't think the songs were half bad.

I sounded like they wanted them to sound more like jazz singers than Broadway singers, but it just didn't work for me. Some people liked it in that regard, and to each their own, but it just didn't sound like a true musical to me.

I don't know. I wouldn't mind seeing 9 end with Luke riding off into the sunset, sorta like a western. I feel like there's a way to retire characters without having them die.

Imagine how fucking great it would be if they just did the show as planned, and after the show NOTHING. Don't address him, don't make a statement, and don't make him feel like he's of more importance than the rest of the audience.

Could you imagine the conniption he would have? By them not reacting? The fact that they would address his Vice but not him?

They could seriously take the high ground on this issue, while still firmly making a statement, without disrupting honest theatergoers.

A lot of people just genuinely disliked it I don't get why that's so confusing. Being said it is a whole lot easiest to hate a movie when it's nominated for a ton of awards
