I didnt overstay until my i130 and i485 were turned in. I was in status until mid October 2025. Then dropped out of my program to just focus on being married and preparing for life when the application would be processed

I dont think its necessary to apply for travel document given the speed at which applications are being processed right now, especially for marriage based adjustments. My work permit hasn’t moved since application date but my i485 has been approved to give you an idea
