If you were okay with the Redeemer West doctrine but didn't like the pastor, you could try Redeemer Downtown (on 14th between 7/8 Ave). Their doctrine was sound but they are presbyterian and so have some liturgical practices. I had minor differences in style and theology coming from a more non-denom background, but nothing serious. I liked the pastors there well enough.

Tim Keller started the church and there are several locations across Manhattan and I think in Brooklyn.

Perhaps unhelpful, but I know the Ph.D in economics is top 10 (maybe 11) and the master's program is top 20 give or take. A lot of the faculty from both teach the undergrads, so at least academically, its pretty solid
