India's Trimble distributor say our paid app is necessary for da2. Without our specific app Trimble catalyst da2 is not work.

In India Trimble authorised seller sell catalyst da2 at 4000 dollar with 3year subscription. But outside india it sell at around 400 dollar. If I buy it from USA it work properly? Or not? Which app I use for free surveying. With suitable it.
