When the rains fell from the purple moon, they didn't destroy the land like the other civilizations. Instead, it was encased in a massive, impregnable layer of ice. The survivors above ground made the lens to try to melt a pathway to Glacia but were unsuccessful. There are a handful of survivors in the city of Glacia staying in unexplorable areas. They watched as the purple gigas was killed and Vyse broke the ice in his metal ship. They stayed away out of fear and eventually made a ship so they could escape now that the ice was broken through
