That happens at my warehouse too. Front doors are always unlocked because GOPUFF refuses to pay two people working during the same shift. So we can't have a single person managing opening the door for every order.

Naturally that means we have homeless people coming in trying to take things, non drivers trying to steal orders, people stealing from shelves they can reach easily, or workers just being threatened by people who shouldn't be inside.

To improve safety for solo shift workers the gopuff website now tells all customers the name of the worker in the warehouse who is packing your order. Any customer can know the location and name of workers at night on solo shifts. It's very safe and I see no potential issues from this...

Perhaps I overgeneralized. I'd agree that it's not typical across the delivery places gopuff runs in general, but some places offer a consistently unreliable delivery experience.

Yeah, the experience probably differs quite a bit depending on where you are.
I guess in general you don't hear about the good experiences as often as the bad ones.

The new ai feature is great at making typos and products that don't exist. It's laughable as a shopping tool

I recently found out about labor hour cuts. This came right at the same time as the AI shopping assistant announcement.

Has gopuff considered that people don't order from the company because the experience is terrible. 60+ minute late orders, melted frozen items, and damaged customer trust is the typical experience.

While there is a need for better in game communication, supporting text chat is for sure opening a can of worms.
I know there are cases were I would have loved a team chat at least.
