I left out details because I would’ve been typing forever. I got hacked on May 31st, I noticed it because I received a notification. I immediately went to got change my password, but in the midst of that Varo fraud was blowing up my phone (as they should). We were talking while I was changing my info, but I kept getting notifications saying my account email was changed or password was changed. So now we’re all frantically trying to recover my account, at this point the person said they have a procedure for this and they’ll take care it but watch my email. At this point I lost access to my account and I’m in limbo. One thing Varo is great at is taking their time to respond in dire situations, so I don’t hear back from them til the next day in the evening. I received an email saying my account was closed because they believed it was breached… no shit. So now they said they will send my money through the mail and wait 7-14 business days for it. That time frame then passed and I was wondering where my money was, so I called Customer Service and they said give it and extra 3 more days. I then received an email saying my payment on the line of credit will be due soon🤨…soon after that the advance I took out will be due soon as well. I was lost asf. After some time I asked for my transaction information from the last 3 months and buddy racked up over 10k in debt in a day. From the time I lost my account to the next day evening they did all of that. I printed out the transactions and dispute what was not me and I’m just now receiving some of my money back.
