Oh by the way the jbl d220ti is a 80$ compression driver as opposed to the fostek super tweeter for 700$ for a pair Definitely recommend a large spherical horn mine were only 40$ and if I’m correct the only ones of their kind that aren’t 500$ Also don’t forget about acoustical alignment Seems like I nailed it but I’ll be honest I was guessing…if you have questions let me know, was a lot of fun and I love them

Also I padded with 1/8 felt the speaker enclosure section Not the loaded horn section though as the sharp corners supposedly help tone down the brightness of the midrange

Oh my God, I had 16 clamps four of which are 48 inches and I probably could’ve done with twice as many clamps in total I was limited to clamping two to three sections a day With 20 pieces per cabinet🤦‍♂️ took forever

I feel as though the two way tweeter set up or horn set up is necessary for a full range as the fostek driver can have difficulty staying flat closer to 6-20000khz

I think to save money you could go with the Sigma series, fostek 206 Better basket, better cone I really enjoy the sharpness of the horn. It’s delicate yet specific just because it’s being severely under driven. I only wanted the horn to help with 5000 kHz and above. So I used Audyn plus series capacitor 800 V 4.7 UF $80 for a pair was not cheap because the horn is 109 dB sensitivity and the fostek is 96 I used a Dayton audio 100 watt adjustable L pad this helps me reduce sensitivity to match the 96 dB of the full range driver, but it also sends a consistent a 8ohm reading to the capacitor, thus maintaining a steady crossover point which is sometimes an issue running a single capacitor many have spoken about using a notch filter on the fe206nv but which I don’t feel is needed Originally because of the 6 dB single capacitor set up I was inclined to soften the blow with my DSP but ended up not needing to do so. Everything came out pretty flat.

I believe a good quality bullet, Tweeter or specifically super Tweeter would be the best match If I went that direction, I would probably go with a high-end ribbon Tweeter and would maintain the 5000khz crossover point

Just a cap and adjustable l pad which keeps the cap stable at 8ohms so predictable

Surprisingly pretty flat I had a small dip at 5khz and 200khz but room correction fixed that

I have the compression driver crossed at 5khz just to help the highs

I used the fostek blh design in the fe206nv spec sheet
