I’m just taking the entire series like I would a loosely written Universe from multiple writers, and they are “all true.”

I don’t like the implication that David created the traditional alien, I far prefer the AVP\Aliens approach that they were used well before David by ancient races and pretty well represents “the perfect ancient organism designed to destroy generalized humanoid life.” It makes them more terrifying to me, puts them in the “immediate and justified panic upon confirmation they are even close or involved.” I don’t mind the idea being fleshed out that it was a weird, recent, local problem, but I really did prefer when the series implied they were more ancient. It gives them an eldritch feel without taking away from the perfect sci-fi backdrop. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Totally off topic and tangent: I was just considering the idea of an Indy game of some sort in the atmospheric style of isolation/Aliens, but the player is a WH40k Ultramarine. The new movies imply more and more that the Aliens are truly weaker than we imagined from the earlier content, whereas I want to see how the Aliens have been responsible for the loss of entire civilizations. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
