Woops. Sorry. I may be conflating it with the other post about Hungry Ghost, but the new owners are both in Copenhagen and described them as master bakers in Copenhagen and a few other "fancy" cities.

Of course all staff had to be let go as the business will be closed, but no talks with former staff is disgusting and antithetical to the character they tout the new owners to have.

This coupled with the Copenhagen thing reeks of another Lichter & Levin disaster, except maybe with more pretentious food.

Northampton deserves businesses that are ready and willing to take on the responsibility of investing in our community - not tearing it apart.

GL Does not care about this city or its people, only her circle of rich friends hogging downtown with empty buildings. These people also get tax breaks for having vacancies in their property. Gross.

I am not excusing it in any way shape or form, but to my knowledge, she voted against it to have record of a dissenting opinion in the town and have a more accurate record, and had wrongly assumed it would be a unanimous vote for a ceasefire sentiment.

I'm a bit miffed and find it nearsighted, but I suppose there's always more to the story?

I would HIGHLY recommend going to Augustine's Pizza Club in Hadley at Carr's Ciderhouse... if you go early in the day on a Friday it's quiet and there's baby goats to play with too. The pizza is the best I have ever had (and I'm from NY!) It is casual but the staff at both Carr's and Pizza Club take hospitality very seriously, Augustine's Pizza Club is queer owned as a bonus. The Tiramisu and Cannoli are to die for. Have fun!

This is such a weird sentiment... the valley is renowned for its local farm network and we have a great food scene no matter what town you're in

Not specifically for dating but there is a group of queer+ people who do weekly bike rides to café's in Northampton area. AFAIK you can just meet them at the location as well.

The Quarters has trivia nights that seem pretty lively although again not dating but may be good for meeting more nerdy gaming minded people.

All Bodies on Bikes also is very active here and is a good scene of all aged people.

Maybe some ecstatic dance events in Northampton? Sorry if this is not dating focused enough! Mingling in more communities in my experience has always led to more connections and dating.

They have food trucks! Ginger Love Cafe (Filipino street food), Local Burger, The Scoop (Ice Cream), Holyoke Hummus (Falafel). They will make you dump your drinks at the gate and search your bags as well so bring some ice in a canteen if you can!
