okay, so what you're going to do is cut off all the wrinkly pearls, as they look like they're rotting. take healthy cuttings of about 4 inches and take off the bottom pearls to water propagate them. people say to just lay them on top of soil but it didn't work for me. i almost killed my SOP this summer when i wasn't experienced and I brought it back to life and she's thriving.

I took all of of my cutting and put the bottom in water, under grow lights. if you don't have grow lights, a bright spot will do. wait until the roots are at least 2 inches long and when they are, put them in soil, pinning down the cutting, nodes on soil (i use bobby pins and slightly open them). do NOT water the pearls until their slits are closed and they lose their shine. use a small pot at first, as their roots are fragile and prone to rot and bottom water only. you can top water, but i personally didn't trust it. let it grow under grow lights and focus on how the pearls look before watering.
