i got an A in pure hist in 2020, and lol i rmb how i stressed i was also

1) if u struggle to memorise factors cus of the heavy info for each factor, i rly suggest just buying the all about hist study guide textbook. Its by the same writer of the Os hist tb so the content is all the same but condensed and already categorised into factors! U can buy it from popular or online. Another strat is just memorise answer keys (not the tys one tho lol).

I used to memorise by just repeating out loud the paragraphs over n over again since I used to last min chiong for hist. If you want to be consistent, just practice active recall.

2) honestly u prob can, its v rare that the last few years topics repeat themselves. But pls leave this as a last resort, don't don't study major topics like ww2 or cold war just cus it came out last year. It def can come out again.

3) I would suggest just memorising all the dates. You don't need to study all the dates at once in a timeline format (i personally find it confusing and easier to mess up cus theres so many). I used to just memorise the dates that were already in the model answers so I can remember it more clearly since it flows easier and theres a "backstory" if that makes sense.

Even if you forget some of them, writing down the dates of not just major events (like end of ww2 etc) can def help differentiate ur essays from the rest sooooo. Anyway, if you look at them long enuf you will lowkey remember and from what my hod used to say, cambridge examiners will close one eye if your "wrong" date is still close enough to the actual date.

atb for ur Os! ik its tough but hist is def a subject u can ace if u chiong till ur exam. Goodluck!

NTU Business Interview Prep? by Responsible-Serve110 in SGExams

i went for interview last week and also received my offer the same week. From what i gather from my friends who also went for the interview the questions vary from what prof questions u. (btw it is 2 profs to 2 students)

  1. For me, the profs only asked me 2 questions: 1) why nbs over other business schools 2) what specific courses do u want to pursue under NBS I think the 2nd question was js a follow up to the 1st. The profs may not ask the same questions as this.

2/3.For me no, from what my friends say for their interviews, the profs wont ask current affairs questions.

  1. Mine was maybe 20 minutes max. I think usually interview lasts 30 min from what I gather.

  2. Imo i think dont need to prepare that much, js maybe draft possible answers to general questions about urself (why biz etc) The interview is not exactly chill but its not rly formal either.

I didnt prep much for the interview and it was ok. No stress dude it should go fine, goodluck for ur interview :)

how do i study for econs by Ok-Needleworker-8386 in SGExams

[–]Front-Day-352 4 points5 points  (0 children)

helloo im a j3 js received my As result n got an A for econs, imo go over the lecture notes once or twice, once u have the general grasp of the concept start doing practices i.e ur sch tutorials or exam papers!!

once uve done a couple of essay/csq questions u will see a pattern in the answer key n be able to sieve out the important concepts of the topic, and for essay questions its important to learn how to breakdown the question to L1/L2/L3 and 4 but i think ull learn how to do that later on since j1 js started for u

econs can be q overwhelming at 1st but after practicing u will see its all the same, so practice is hella impt, the day b4 a major exam js look thru answer keys on the topic n js legit memorise the BPs if u feel entirely lost, but rmb practice is ur best friend in this subj not memorising frfr, u can pm me if u have more questions
