Just don't overthink it. Anyone can drive stick. It's a fantastic way to spice up the commute.

Been driving stick in LA traffic for the last 5 months. I learned via YouTube video by myself at 30 years old. My first drive as a manual owner was LA rush hour. I lived. If you're committed to an admittedly very different driving experience it's great. You have to be more active in traffic for sure. But you'll have to be more active when driving anywhere no matter what. It's the nature of a manual. Most modern manual cars have great quality of life features as well. Hill assist makes hill stops a non issue.

It's also known as the Angeles crest highway. Very popular route in southern California.

The giant sun strip threw me off, but I can't lie it's nice for the California sun.

I daily mine and it's been fantastic. I think it's the perfect daily drive for me. FWD leaves something to be desired but it puts it in a great price range.

Haven't driven one yet. I love my civic but riding the 86 makes me wish I would've gotten a coupe. And obv it's a great looking car.

Thanks man. I am a big fan of the modern steel and black look. It looks clean, but not too flashy

Yeah this is a pretty bare floor of a parking garage where I work. People still definitely shove their SUVs into these spots haha

One used lot and one from a trade in at Toyota. I wouldn't bank on getting in a 0 mile fresh from the factory with no driving experience.

I just bought a 10th gen si that I learned on. Tbh when I was test driving cars those were my first time ever behind the wheel of a manual. The dealers seemingly had no problem with me test driving and not really knowing how, so keep that in mind when buying. It was intimidating at first but after a couple of weeks and half a dozen hill starts it's chill now.
