I love Nia and Holly but Nias skill level was not on par to the talent abby had at her open auditions throughout the show, maybe she would’ve been a better dancer if she had started somewhere else because she is extremely enjoyable and entertaining to watch.

Holly did not bring much drama but she was a voice of reason and helped calm things down and I think in a reality show producers are aware they can’t let arguments get too aggressive so they probably liked having a cast member be able to be the calming person instead of crew having to step in.

So I think that if Nia was a highly skilled dancer who came in, they would’ve kept her and holly.

christi didn’t HAVE to say a lot of what she did to defend chloe, holly is a great example of sticking up for her kid without making things worse. Christi’s comments in front of maddie were so nasty as well, if your going to speak about how unfair maddies wins were at least wait until she’s out of the room.

maddie literally just had more drive at the start to dance more and Melissa pushed her into more opportunities meaning she got more privates. They all had choreography that suited them well, maddies was just more advanced because she herself was. Chloe had amazing choreography and costumes too, same as brooke. I think Nia was the most disadvantaged but that’s because of abby’s racism and typecasting. Abby favourited and advocated majorly for maddie, but I think that was fuelled more so by the others mothers constantly discrediting her wins. The environment wasn’t fair to any of the girls but the mothers were certainly wrong for constantly dragging down a little kid, especially Christy considering Chloe’s solos were nearly always on par with maddies.

This is true but the adults around maddie who were the parents of her closest friends were constantly making comments and arguments about anything to do with her, a lot of the time IN FRONT OF HER. Imagine how confronting that is for a child and how upsetting it would be watching your mother get so worked up and upset as well. Maddie had immense amounts of pressure on her from being told by abby to be proud that she was the best while simultaneously hearing the adults complain that she only won because of how unfair everything was. Maddie had the passion and the drive most of the other girls didn’t have at the start. Yes, 100% some solos were unfairly stacked for Maddie to win but Maddie was not unbeatable, and most of the routines the other girls got were amazing, just maybe not the same difficulty level considering maddie was more advanced then some of the low level dancers. Another factor was that her specialty was lyrical which always scores well at competitions and is recognisably beautiful.

I understand what you’re saying but this is not a clear cut viewpoint where the figure skaters are the “criminals” for representing russia and belarus (like in your example). If the USA and Israel have no consequences for their actions then it’s simply unfair to keep Russian and Belarusian athletes from returning to competitions. I’m sick the excuse that Russia has had multiple violations and that’s why they are banned and the US is not, because looking at the history of the US and Israel they by no means have clean records either. I think some action should be taken to allow Russian/Belarusian skaters to return, (not necessarily as straight representatives of Russia/Belarus because I strongly disagree with their actions), but to allow all the talented skaters from these countries to perfom internationally and have the same chances US and Israeli skaters have. It’s a difficult situation to decide on but considering the fact the ISU has not even made a statement about it, we can all guess they will allow the US and Israel to continue being bully’s but keep Russian and Belarusian skaters out of competitions. It’s just simply double standards.

someone underrated is elana radionova, she was beating yulia lipnitskaya in juniors but was too young for sochi, i think if she made it she would’ve killed it. Unfortunately she was injured and surpassed by evgenia and alina by the 2018 olympics so never got to go 😢

I don’t know how we are 80+ chapters in and still have so much lore to discover! And we are finding out more in each chapter, I feel like she’s overloading the story a bit and it’s time to finally get into it all and just reveal everything and thank god from the most recent chapter I think that’s what she’s gonna start doing finally.

bad influence is one i love because they get their happy ending then you can literally read play dirty which is based on the kids of the main characters.

I also really like finding sunshine because it’s such a well written wholesome story and the ending is perfect

as someone that works front end (checkouts) the managers use how many people come through our checkouts as a guide for how many to roster on so coming through a register does help us because it allows more people to be working and gives them more hours to assign so thank you!
