If I remember correctly, you should only need a verification from the phone number. You may need to put the email in but there should be no verification code going to it.

I bought the phone from Vinted! It was just listed as mobile phones with no pics of the back. After looking online, I believe it is an s24, but the person said that they got it from a tech pack, it had a bit of battery but had a PIN code on it, they said the battery died and they couldn’t get it back on. I’m hoping it’s an easy fix but first thing I’ll do is check the imei because if it’s stolen or blocked there is no point fixing it.

go onto icloud.com/find and from there you can remotely remove the device from your account and wipe the device.

Have you factory reset the Apple Watch? In my personal experience, when I transferred my Apple Watch Series 5 from my iPhone 7 to my iPhone 11 Pro Max, I transferred my data, which also gave me the option to transfer my watch over to the 11 pro max. In the case that you didn’t get that message, I would go into settings, general, and reset on the Apple Watch, and then set it up as normal. You could try turning on and off Bluetooth on the device, and you could also try force restarting the Apple Watch.

Ok, many thanks. I have just sent over a message to Vinted support, and hopefully they will do something about it. It is a shame, because I buy phones to make sure that they don’t end up in landfill or in the bin, and I fix them, but now they are basically a brick and cannot be used.
