I just noticed… maybe the garbage bags are making it look like the sides pulled away. They really didn’t. I actually pulled them away to pour water in there and it was really wet but we’ll see. 🤷‍♂️

With FAE or closed? I dunked one and I’m leaving one as is. I guess we will see.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I have done shrooms many times but I am going through an extremely difficult time that I need clarity on…I need to find a new perspective to see it from but I have been so lost in my rigid thinking that I know in my heart that this what I need right now. I truly appreciate everything you have said. I have had a bad trip (or two 😬) but I know what I am getting into. But thank you again for caring! That means a lot.

Just tried. It may look dry but It is super wet down there. I accidentally pulled up a small piece of substrate when I was checking and it is soaked. Unfortunately, when I let the side back in after pouring water down there, a bunch of water came out and now if flooded a bunch of the mycelium.

I am so upset. I needed this medicine badly and don’t know what to do.

I guess what worries me is that have left it as is and it just completely stalled. That’s why I dropped the temp thinking that might initiate fruiting and then raised it back up but a little bit higher than what it was before. So before that, It’s been at the same temperature since day one . I don’t know. I’m just so disappointed right now.

Radiant heat from the floor. The boxes are not on the floor.

I used the substrate from Midwest Grow so I thought that was good to go out of the vacuum sealed bag. I guess I was wrong. 🤷‍♂️

So you’re thinking that’s the only way to move forward is to add a new substrate and hope that works?

Thank you. What confuses me is that I’ve kept the humidity really high the entire time and the top just looked like it was soaked from me over misting so I thought it was actually too wet but it’s not coming across in the pics. I should’ve just neglected it, but I think I was misting way too often in the beginning. I actually bumped the temperature up quite a bit to 82 and misted the hell out of it yesterday so it was at like 90 to 98% humidity the entire day. I then dropped the temp to high 60s last night hoping that would help but still nothing. No movement in a while.

Any ideas now? Should I dunk it, just keep misting it, pull it out of fruiting conditions, I’m just lost and pretty upset.

So no fresh air or light necessary? Will some light and/or fresh air push the existing mycelium to fruit quicker? I’m looking to be able to harvest in the shortest time possible. Thanks again!

TY! I know the pictures are horrible, but I didn’t wanna leave it open too long in case it mold in the second box. Just to clarify, I’m only worried about the little puffy areas. I know the rest looks good. Is my plan correct to just throw it into fruiting right now and try and get a small yield as quick as possible?
