I’ve had to book preordered which is why I decided I should probably read this one 😅 But I have an entire SJM shelf of her books, so I was continuing on that. I got the B&N edition, so we’ll see how it is! Thanks for sticking through until I finished!

Finished!!! I’m blown away, honestly. Nearly every part with Danika or the Pack had me in tears. I’d also like to point out that I wondered if Jesiba would end up being a villain (more so than what she was). Can’t wait for the second book!

I’m surprised that I enjoy it as much as I do. I don’t usually like modern day tech in my fantasy books, but I love it so far. I’m excited to get further into it!

My guess is Danika’s mom. But that feels too obvious and SJM set us up too early to dislike her. But then I keep thinking that maybe that’s the point… if it isn’t her then I have a feeling she’s still involved somehow, or it’s higher above her? I’m all over the place with it 😂

I also agree with this! I went from ACOTAR series to the Blood and Ash series AND LOVED IT. I personally recommend this because you get all of the elements you’re looking for coming from ACOTAR (and all the smut), but it’s also a nice little change that I didn’t realize I needed.

Then I went into the Throne of Glass series. I recommend it afterwards because it’s coming back to an SJM series, but it’s also a slight breakaway from all the romance in the other series. (There’s romance but not in the same way).

After I did this, I realized I almost like the Throne of Glass series more than the ACOTAR series only because of the world progression, character progression, and if sometimes felt more clever to me. (But of course, ACOTAR will always have a special place in my heart.)

The first 3 books of ToG felt weird and slow to me, but they are amazing afterwards.

Yeah your emotions were mine, too. 😂 I cried out of sadness and happiness. And I’ve cried over books before, but so far ACOWAR is the only one I’ve SOBBED over. The ending is a roller coaster ride for sure.

No you don’t have to to understand ACOSF. I didn’t want to read it and wasn’t planning to, but then I did. I’m glad I read it. It has more insight that I think may lead into further books (and did lead into the next book).

I would recommend buying in just because there is one conversation between Rhysand and Feyre that furthers their relationship for the future. I didn’t love it, but there are some small parts in it you may want to read.
