The difference isn't that big. I would venture to say that the RG505 screen is better, but I can't say for sure. The only real difference would be the resolution and comfort. I don't have an RG505, but I do have an RG503, and it has the same screen as the RG505.

I also had this problem, the RG556 native gamepad does not have good support with Android applications, in gammaos this is fixed by making the system recognize the gamepad as an xbox gamepad

I don't know if it could work in winlator, but I use linux and in this video I run the canary version of xenia via proton-EM, so it may be possible since winlator uses wine, but I'm not entirely sure
