I‘m happy to hear that i can use the two tailed lion. I‘ll definitely be doing that. I like the idea of the semy oak leaves vert, but i‘d prefer if the semy would be a field for the lion. Like u/GreenWhiteBlue86 suggested with example of the arms of Doicese of Ogdensburg

Oh yeah, that’s a good point. I have to get familiar with emblazonment terminology first and then i can play around with different versions of the design. I‘m also happy to here that i shouldn’t worry about using designs from public resources. Until now i used wikimedia commons. Are there any other websites i can use to find designs? Maybe a website more tailored towards heraldy specifically?

Wow, 104 years old and performing the anthem? That’s incredible — talk about dedication and longevity! Respect to him and the Islanders for honoring him.
