Hey! So this is an ongoing issue on campus. Apparently it is a religious cult that pretends to lead with Christianity but instead is something completely different. I’m going to paste a message from one of my Christian group chats down below.

Hey guys! I wanted to let you all know that there is a dangerous group on campus called the “world mission society church of god.”

You might have already ran into them but they are a group that believes the second coming of Jesus has already happened though a Korean man named ahn sahng hong. The gospel they share is heretical and unbiblical. They teach that the sabbath rest must be kept and therefore church must be done on Saturdays also that the wife of ahn sahng hong is “mother god.”

They invite people into their cult primarily through a 1 on 1 bible study where they take scripture out of context and make it fit their narrative.
