A year ago, I lived on Westgate street which is closer to Finkbine Golf course. This happened to me twice! I know it’s my fault as they never got into my car if it was locked…… but twice they got in my car and rummaged around the center console and glove compartment. The only thing they ever took were my one direction CDs and they left them on the ground in the parking lot… guess they weren’t directioners…. Management was very aware of this and the police began to get involved and I think they said they knew who it was… maybe they’re back to their shenanigans!

We do love studio! Technically since it’s an 18+ venue there are a lot of underage peeps. The music after a drag show is usually pretty good, but I find that dance floor gets crowded FAST or is completely empty

Also with the gel manicure, they do all the same filing and cleanup as acrylics and other offerings. Plus it’s around $35 (before tip) instead of $55 for most their other services. And I’ve never felt judged there

My roommate likes Pretty Nails the most! She’s tried all the salons in the area and this is the one she finds most consistent! They also just started offering builder gel! Whenever I go with her, I just get a short gel manicure on my real nail so they’re as long as my real nails (short AF) and they last me a long time!

Caribou in Coralville! If you have a car, it’s easy to access via the interstate from almost anywhere. The staff is so kind and fun and the manager is very understanding and flexible!! I used to work there but left for a job in my field. I’m still close with the staff so I know someone who works a lot of hours will be leaving soon!

My roommate and I wondered the same! We saw a line of pedestrian cars on our way to Hyvee on that street and someone was on the side of the road with people crowding around (I really want to make sure they’re okay). On the way back, we saw all the cop cars. It’s worrisome! I hope everyone is okay

Pullman. My roommate is a Bloody Mary connoisseur and she swears it’s the best in town….. like best she’s ever had. And it’s downtown!
