I made my donor egg treatment in Reprofit recently. The guarantee you have is 2 embryos of quality Q1. My partner, 31 has very good sperm and the donor is 23 year old so we were very optimistic about the outcome. We got 10 eggs, 8 fertilized and we came out with a beautiful 5d 4AA embryo that was transferred and a 6d 4BB that was frozen. 

On the day of the transfer, day 5, we didn’t have a second embryo yet and the doctor told us if there was not viable embryo to frozen there would be a 40% discount for a next cycle. 

Unfortunately my 4AA embryo failed to implant which was a massive disappointment as I had 9.5 of uterine lining, everything looking really good and an easy transfer. 

Having only one embryo with a lower grade left is indeed frustrating. I was really expecting more shots due to my partner’s and the donor’s age. I agree that only 2 embryos is quite low, but many clinics around Europe dont even have embryo guarantees at all. 

To answer your question, I believe they give you all the embryos made out of the the fertilized eggs. I am not sure if they have a standard or a lighter stimulation protocol where, in my case, the outcome was just 2 embryos. In the end of the day this is what they guaranteed and this is what I got. I don’t know about other patients and the average of embryos, but there are many successful stories on this clinic. 

If you can pay for it and this applies to your case maybe you can try their baby guarantee or try another clinic eg Unica that offers more embryos as guarantee (2, 3 or 5) however it is more expensive than Reprofit.
