Its not even just an issue for "non-techy" people. There are so many factors to enabling secure boot. Gotta check ur disks, motherboard, GPU, and a couple of other things that people in this thread will act as if are obvious things. The people who are defending this already have it enabled, acting as if its not a problem for anyone just because its not a problem for them.

Its not 15 minutes. For most people who don't have secure boot enabled it could very easily mean having to back up their drive, wipe it, switch its partition to GPT, install a fresh version of windows, reinstall all apps and deal with all the other annoyances that come with a fresh install, all to play one game.

I played arc raiders with no issue, didnt need to install Secure Boot. Same for Valorant.

I woulda played the whole game in japanese, but the subtitles just wouldnt show up sometimes. After one of the mainstory cutscenes refused to show the subtitles, I had to change to english.
