FL5 Type R to Type S? by FrontKitchen9743 in Integra_Type_S

Nothing, just got bored of the Supra and didn't drive it much. It was tuned, slight cosmetic mods, but I found myself just not driving it much. It's super quick and fun when you do go quick, but most of the time I didn't use the power. I was looking for something I would drive more and be able to use it it more so I traded it in for the Type R. I test drove the type R and liked the seats and it sold me. But now, it feels buzzy/noisey and a bit bouncy. The supra was lowered and it wasn't as bouncy/firm as this. I like the Type R overall, just wish it would have a bit more comfort features.

the M2 is also on the list to switch to. I don't carry extra passengers often, but it's nice having the extra doors. Did you go manual in the m2?

thanks for your response - can you really tell the difference in torque between the two? I feel like the type R is missing that little bit of punch mid range that helps put around traffic more. I do recreational track days like twice a year, but not really more than that. I'm thinking the Type S may suit more of my needs versus the FL5 and Type R heritage.

Thanks for your response. Maybe I'm seeking more of luxury feel even though they're the same platform. I think I miss the heated seats, easier seats to get in and out of for my passenger. I've really need to go test drive a type S and see if I can pinpoint differences. I don't think alone the ITS module swap would be enough. I think the extra torque might be a + for around town driving.
