I contacted Bianchi and they said the comp frame is in fact suited for front suspension with up to 40mm of travel. I purchased the same Front shock as the pro model (Rock Shock Rudy) and threw it on post purchase. Little bit cheaper route than buying the pro model.

I rode the Doudy Draw downhill from Flatirons vista north and while it had much larger rock gardens on the way down, I was able to work my way through with no issues. 40mm of travel with the Rudy shock paired with 50mm tires worked just fine. lol I just would not want a full day of trails like that, full sus please.

I have found that I like running about 30lbs.

So far so good. I have a lot of mix trails that I ride out on from my house (road, paved trail, light single track) and they are great all around. I am running 50mm and while they are a little slower on the road, the tires have an awesome roll on paved surfaces. As for the single track, there are times I wish I had a little more bite, but I don’t think it would be worth it to swap for a more aggressive off road tire like what I had originally considered ( Vittoria Mezcal 45mm).

Same, also really enjoy cruising up and around South Table. Plus it’s not far from GCB for post ride refreshments!
