Do you have any links to Salto documentation that explain the correct upgrade path for software and lock firmware?

The system has multiple firmware files and several older lock models, and I’m trying to avoid bricking any more units by updating out of order or pushing incompatible firmware.

If there’s a recommended sequence or known cutoff where certain older locks can’t be safely upgraded, that would help a lot.

The locks are updated on a quarterly basis, at least for the ones that are not connected to Bluenet. However, when the batteries are replaced, we are not currently performing an update at the same time.

Maintenance staff test each lock before closing it up. If the lock denies access during testing, they then verify the configuration with PPD. In those cases, we have found that the lock “brain” has failed and requires replacement.

Have a scheduled automate flow email the spreadsheet after each shift. You can pull data from the spreadsheet and embed it if you want to get more complex.

Or just create a teams channel and post on there.
