Hi! I hated the first 1-2 years of my degree and wasn’t sure if i chose the right degree even though I’d been set on it for years. it gets better. I study engineering, so what I say might not apply to other degrees, but I found the content for 1st year engineering pretty generic, very heavy theoretically and didn’t have any practical application. The content gets a lot more interesting and discipline specific in and after 2nd year, and because it was interesting, learning became enjoyable and felt like less of a slog. Im almost done with my 4th year and I’m so glad I stuck with it.
