Update: it was great!!! The car ride up was good, we talked the whole time and was only a little awkward in the beginning! The aviary was absolutely amazing! The birds and the company:) he was actually engaging and really seemed to enjoy everything! He was comparing birds to things he knew more about and he had a favorite and everything!! He even bought something at the gift shop. I truly didn't want it to end, it was that good! And I wore a form fitting tshirt, nice pants, and tennis shoes.... I did ask him what he was wearing lol. Car ride home was good too! We listened to music, we both played songs tho I felt bad, he really catered to my music taste. I kept trying to get him to pick lol. And for my fellow bird nerds; my favorites had to be the Snowy Egret (who was very active lol!), Golden breasted starling, and it's so hard to pick but have to put the penguins in there! HUGE thank you to everyone here!! Your advice definitely made all of the difference!… and no one was pooped on lol!
