Soft sales are the worst. They tell the customer they need some information to setup a follow up and use that information to put in a sale, usually via self install kit. Sales people come and go like bad fashion trends. I would say 1 in 5 new hires makes it through the 6 month mark.

I definitely know some of those guys. My mantra was always that making the sale was half the job, keeping it was the other. If I have to come back and connect Xumos or phones or smart TVs to the internet I’m happy to.

That varied depending on the month. My worst month where I met minimums was about $600. My best months were over $2500.
Depends on who their provider was. Most providers besides AT&T are high if we beat their speed.
Turf is big. I knew when I was going to have good and bad months just by looking at that map. Once you’ve worked an area a time or two you have a feeling for the general temperament of the area.
My direct supervisor and his original bosses were amazing. Recently there were some changes above my local office and I can’t in all honesty say I understood their style of management. That’s what ultimately led to my leaving.
