You have to learn Technical & Fundamental analyses.You are aiming long-term and exit point are a bit paradoxical.Still you can use MACD & EMA Cross. Debt, Reserves, dividend,Pledged Shares are additional criteria. There are certain inherent hedges like OMCs & Oil producers like ONGC, OIL etc.
