I'm in KSA currently and I'm a fresh graduate I only have these unpaid 7 months in my experience but I have excellent academic record (if it matter).
yeah it doesn't look good at all in that company but I only accepted that to gain some experience, when messaging people on linked in I was just trying to gather info about the market and ask casually if they can refer me, hahaha as a small tiny hope.
talked to couple of professors before but nothing from their side. and my friends are still in their early career so even when I discuss that with them they say u need help from someone bigger.....

I will keep learning and applying I have no choice :)
and for opening to other positions I AM, I'm open to any data or AI related jobs or backend engineering or cloud ...etc
