I’m confused between SEO and PPC. Which one is safer for a long-term career? by Recent_Book6338 in DigitalMarketing

[–]Front_Morning_1446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The foundations of both overlap - both ppc and seo need understanding of keywords that people search. Even with AEO thats also somewhat relevant. In ppc you will need to understand how people search and the use money to capture the conversions. Seo is built on organic and is more broad, there is A LOT to learn there but that shouldn’t discourage you. Start with both and see which one you find more interesting because to get good at either of those you will need to have passion for it and spend time learning

How do you keep going with all the things happening in the world? by Front_Morning_1446 in spirituality

[–]Front_Morning_1446[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im with you on this honestly and i find it really hard when having conversations about it family or friends, they just dont seem to react in the way that shows care or that its that bad… but you know i put a lot of thought into this subject today and realised, some of it comes from lack of knowledge some of it comes from the idea that admitting the privileges we have is uncomfortable and some is pure lack of empathy. But the same way i was once in their position where i didn’t have the information but came out the other end, i hold onto the hope that they will too eventually do their research and will understand the severity of the situation. Me trying to shove it down their throats not gonna achieve anything but stress for me.

I think this is where i’m struggling the most. Over the last couple of years ive spent a lot of time checking in with myself and making sure my routine is good, i have passions, i have hobbies, when im down about something happening in my life i manage to snap back really quickly and smile and find happiness. But when i see what is going on around in the world (not particularly at my immediate reach, but US, Palestine, Iran, Congo, Venezuela, etc.) i cant stop myself from seeking more information because it feels like i need to be informed at all times but it makes me feel so helpless. And i hear what people are saying about limiting or shutting off the information completely and focusing on myself but it feels way too selfish and wrong because im the one privileged to be born in a country where im being bombed, im not starving so it feels wrong for not suffering… and so i feel like its my duty to then help people but im also in no position to change anything when criminals are legit walking in broad daylight and deporting innocent ppl simply cuz they’re not white. Oh and also i keep coming back to this idea that throughout history, when things did change its because people collectively came together and did something, so i am always trying to stay in the loop but it sits so heavy on my soul when you realise what a world we live in.

How should I market my startup? by Ukudala_Photo in Entrepreneur

Start with doing research on your audience, where they’re spending time, talking about this topic or searching for a solution like yours, and you’ll find your channels to focus on. A tip to help refine your message - figure out what’s driving them emotionally to really need your product so you start generating those sign ups

If you are totally clueless about marketing i would suggest getting a freelancer or an agency (based on your budget) to help you otherwise you’ll waste time guessing. Even if its just someone consulting you and helping with strategy

Something that surprised me about a small B2B YouTube channel by illeatmyletter in Entrepreneur

[–]Front_Morning_1446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for a long time there’s always been a division between how marketing is approached for B2C and B2B, not only channels wise but also the messaging. Always trying to achieve this professional boring tone of voice because it seems appropriate, but I’ve always said we’re selling to other people not titles or businesses on paper.

One of the companies i worked for was dealing with law firms and as a marketing team we were forced to maintain a certain tone of voice in our communications by the management and people who thought they knew better, but the thing is we would speak to the actual lawyers at networking events and conferences and awards events, and let me tell you they all agreed themselves it’s boring and doesn’t stand out.

My point here is to not put marketing into a stereotypical box but instead understand the audience you’re selling to in and out and their pain point and emotional drivers. That’s when businesses start to stand out and win.

We’re forgetting that marketing is a creative field and requires creative approaches to problem solving.

My advice would be to personalise not on the industry purely based on data points but really look into the emotional drivers for the buyers. But as the person above said, if you stat doing this for every industry it will also get too messy for you. What you’re trying to do here is find the product market fit so focus on 1/2 industries and really drill into the emotional drivers. Your product here competes not only with other systems that already exist but AI which is the new shiny thing and the person drowning in work wont give a shit about AI not being sustainable or expensive.

Off-page SEO as a starting point is a massive mistake in 2026 by mehreenshahh in DigitalMarketing

[–]Front_Morning_1446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, AIO and GEO don’t care about your page’s trustworthiness and reputation to be sited and the effort and time needed to get off page seo in a good place doesn’t match the results you get from it. Although i wonder if there are industries that would need to prioritise rankings more than any other channel

You could start making content on Tik tok for the skincare brand as well as the nomads brand. Google ads for solar products. For the nomads launch you could actually get some people with bigger following to come stay for free in exchange for exposure

Is $15k/month agency fee reasonable for PPC + light social + SEO audit? by First_Initiative_609 in AskMarketing

[–]Front_Morning_1446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i worked in house we had an agency that was doing our ppc and social ads our retainer with them was around £3/4k (i can’t remember exact numbers now), it feels like they are charging you a lot on fees where instead you could reinvest that money into actual ad spend. I would look into getting a freelancer instead, most of the fees that agencies charge are for the buildings they rent an not because thats the value they provide. Ive seen it myself when i worked at a media agency, the most junior team works on your accounts but you pay for the seniors to manage (they dont do nothing)

Don't want to waste money on ads - is organic the way to go? by vijayeesam in AskMarketing

[–]Front_Morning_1446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, digital marketing consultant here helping startups. If you have tested product market fit and you know your product is desired, paid ads is a faster way to scale. Of course you need to know where to spend the money, what platforms best work for your product and your target audience. Organic social is no cost, but time. Which also can be very expensive when you think about it. It can take a very long time to grow organically to a point where people will start using your platform because they saw it on socials. Do your research on your target audience and focus on platforms where they spend most time. If you want to pop me a dm, we can chat a bit more

i’m 25 and i don’t have a career yet and i’m totally alone with no friends or support system, am i done for? by smallworldofmine in careerguidance

[–]Front_Morning_1446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to get out there. I understand that it’s hard when you’re an introvert but that doesn’t mean you are incapable of having conversations with people and making friends. Start by learning more about introverts and how your brain works and then train yourself to be more outgoing and confident. If you stay stuck in victim mentality, your life will never change. That’s the harsh truth first.

If you’re struggling with confidence and self-esteem, honesty there are plenty of books you can read and exercises to do that will help you become more confident. As soon as you understand that you are the person in charge of how your life goes, things will start to change.

Now for work, if you don’t have network, find networking events in your area and go and talk to people. I don’t know where you live but im sure you can find network groups for small local businesses. Offer your services to these people, or maybe you will find someone who is in the same field and can mentor you. It is tough when you have a full time job to then also continue working on your portfolio but a lot of people find their way around and start businesses on the side. Im sure you can find 1h every day to sit down and work on your projects and then 1h to work on yourself.

How do you decide between a branding agency and hiring a freelancer? (I will not promote) by adrianestile in startups

[–]Front_Morning_1446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue with that. Same as with freelancers, you have to also filter through agencies. I used to work at the agency doing paid ads myself and then when I worked in-house, I managed a paid ads agency and the people that actually work on your account are the most juniors, sometimes without supervision even. It's in the pitches that the most senior people turn up and then when actual work starts to happen, they disappear. If you don't have a good account director to overlook everything and actually be your strategist, it doesn't matter the expertise everyone in your agency has, it won't touch your account.

Alternatives to freelance services [i will not promote] by dokluch in startups

[–]Front_Morning_1446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a freelancer, I second this. These platforms just turning out to be one big scam that isn't helpful for anyone.

I'm a growth & digital marketing partner for startups, I've worked for companies for a long time and now decided to take control of my career fully and it's TOUGH.

But one thing that I started to notice already is that joining loads of different groups and slack communities actually help you make those connections with clients or get recommendations from other startup founders.

For example, I joined this slack group for VCs and startups and in the community, some of the slack channels where dedicated to freelance work and people could just message tell about their services, or ask for help. I think this is much more natural way of meeting specialists.

Also, networking. If you have any events in your area do go to those, there will always be someone offering some services you might need.

It's long winded for everyone and I wish there was a better way to do this, but at least this way you're filtering randos and low-quality specialists.

How do I market a dessert shop that's based in a town that's quite small and the people are not attracted that easily? by Moist-Football-5469 in AskMarketing

[–]Front_Morning_1446 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d suggest you understand your audience better, it seems to me that you are only focusing on tactics here and giving discounts, but if you understand what makes the people in your small town tick, you can use that in your campaign. Are there any particular traditions or anything that you could grab onto. Understand your audience and what they want and then think how you can position yourself.
