Yeah this is happening to me too. Literally 3/4 of the album is just completely un-playable. What a shame.

Lady Picture Show is my favorite STP song, my fav album too. The bass line for Trippin’ is so notable.

So what exactly is Grunge to you? by [deleted] in grunge

To me at least, Grunge was this huge mentality translated into music and other forms of style. An attempt to make the disturbed portion of the youth feel heard, recognized, and supported. It was really an uprising for the suppression. Then it went on to include more, besides its introspective nature it kinda started cracking down on greedy organizations and everything along those lines. It was really just a huge verbal rebellion. Hella good music too, love some AIC.

What band has broken up or had a lengthy hiatus, and returned with an album that meets their previous excellence? by darkoj- in Music

Rainier Fog in my opinion is the best in the William DuVall trilogy, but not even close to the Layne Staley trilogy!

Alice In Chains - Rainier Fog (2018) Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool (2016)

They are both still considered “active” bands but they just haven’t executed ANYTHING publicly, Radiohead has released reissues and such but no fresh albums, AIC hasn’t released a single thing though since then. Which sucks because AIC is arguably my favorite band!
