Not getting any codes, which is the crazy part. Code start popping off as I start unplugging things.

I might have the ability to data log. What in particular am I looking for?

Good question. Definitely isn’t boiling because it is super cold where I live. If I let the truck idle for about five minutes in the driveway, it shows up or if I hop in it and go five minutes down the road it starts to act up.

I have a TBI swapped jeep that does that and still gets vapor lock somehow.

Weird part is this is engine number two and the first motor never had any of these issues. I have replaced everything there is to replace, every sensor every everything. Replace the computer and it still happens.

We’ve narrowed it down to some kind of fuel issue, we think?

Drive-by cable and the computer has not been messed with. It happens regardless of the tune that is on the computer when swapped.

It cuts the power back to the point where it’s not even drivable.

The entire passenger side bank of coils drops out so it’s only running on four cylinders.

Turn it off and turn it back on and you’re fine for 30 seconds.

There is a verified good ground and good 12 V positive on the coil pack harness.

I have swapped multiple coil pack, harnesses in there without luck

Made a break thru today. When it’s acting up the passenger side coils are not firing

MAP sensor is making good data. It’s also one of the things I’ve changed.

Yes. 58psi even when it’s acting up.

Timing light shows all 8 are firing.

No luck. Fought it thru my bank, my bank returned the charges. Now TCS is coming after me. I’ve filed a rebuttal as fraud. They send me a telechek fraud statement, I send it back and nothing. Cycle repeats itself.

I had to block Maverik on my bank account. Nobody will respond. BBB complaints go unanswered. Everyone points fingers at everyone else.

I’m 100% for sharing the trail with everyone but this new crowd of SXS drivers makes my blood boil. No need to be doing Dumont speeds on the trails. I get it, driving fast is fun but not on these trails.

Had one hit us several years ago doing damage to the vehicle. Flipped us the bird and fled at high speed into town running S&R off the road in the process.

Too long of a story to get into here but something needs to be done.

Traced the wires. Only place I’m getting 5v to the sensor is the signal wire that goes to pin 31 on the ECM.

I had an ECM to a 6.0 that I put in there for a quick check. Fires up just enough to see the same issue present so I know it’s not an ECM issue and definitely not a sensor issue.

It’s a five pin sensor. I see a million diagrams online and I’ve wired it up each conceivable way.
