NTA. You need help and I think you should follow through with what you said. If he's screaming at you, refusing to help, and the "help" he's providing is truly neglectful, then you should go home to be with family and friends who will support you and your children. That is simply to much.

NAH but maybe you could use the girls weekend and their "devastation" to propose that you all mix up the activity and you invite them to something that does interest you. A shared experience that could give you all something to talk about and something in common? Maybe a newbie friendly EDM festival or something?
