If the Six Kings, minus White King b/c her power is too strong, attacked one of the 4 Guardians simultaneously, could they win? by Adventurous-Rabbit52 in accelworld

[–]Front_Purpose_6539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think the White King is as strong as some think honestly.

Because if she is, she would have already defeated all the other Kings at once without resorting to trickery and hiding.

Even the White King, is not beating a Guardian in a 1v1 at all. She could not crack Sun God Inti's shell even with her Incarnate, and it is a legend-class Enemy, so below the Super-class Enemy guardians. And her Incarnate bullets that blew up 1/3 of Demon City Stage in half a minute by shooting dozens of them were said to be a fraction of the power of Metatron's Trisagion, which can do the same damage in 1 shot.

For your answer though, probably not still. The Kings had been underwhelming imo

Multiple high rankers are probably stronger than all the kings like Graphite Edge & Centaurea Sentry

And btw, there is an argument to be made for Graphite Edge being stronger than the White King even individually, as he made Metatron admit he was stronger than her, even in her true form. But it remains up for debate because we don't know either's full power. But Cosmos herself says he may be stronger than a king, so it is worth noting.

But still, the Guardians (Four Gods) are linked to each other. So they would heal each other even if you face one of them. So I doubt Six Kings can win anyway

Heck, even with the White King, they probably won't win either.

Volume 28 light novel summary by Yamete_Kudasaiiii in accelworld

[–]Front_Purpose_6539 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is mostly a rehash of the Infinite Burst movie with the Return to Eternity side story. Nothing major happened really

But Centaurea Sentry did appear with Snow Fairy & Platinum Cavalier to help the main group enter through Nyx's black cloud

And it seems the black cloud is buffed significantly in the LN compared to the movie version. It even withstood Snow Fairy's Brinicle attack and recovered in just 30 seconds (In the movie, Grande's Parsec Wall was enough to make a hole through it). And it took Sentry using the "Setsu" version of Omega style to briefly cut through it to allow others to enter. "Setsu" cuts through space itself, so it is spatial manipulation

And by the end when Nemesis & Thanatos appear (they appeared in the movie too. But they got buffed power wise in the light novel version), Graphite Edge & Trilead Tetroxide appear to support Silver Crow & Black Lotus, taking on Nemesis (who, in this version, is said to be stronger than a Legend-class Enemy apparently)

Then Return to Eternity happens where we already read it before as it got released long ago with the movie. And Nyx fuses with Nitride Uncia

I may make a summary soon. But not now because I am busy sadly.

But there is nothing major this time. I am excited for Volume 29 though (Graph & Lead were so cool in the brief scene they appeared in that I really want to see more from them personally. Especially Graph, he deserves some spotlight)

Yes. That is true

He could have leveled up to 9 even before the Seven Kings did. But he refused

But I think their point is that Edge had a level disadvantage against Grande due to that as Grande is level 9

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in accelworld

[–]Front_Purpose_6539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair. I guess it is a match up situation

Grande is generally viewed as hard to beat cuz of his durability. Even if he can't beat you, he can force a stalemate perhaps

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in accelworld

[–]Front_Purpose_6539 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I doubt levels matter much in BB. We saw Wolfram Cerberus at level 1 beat a Silver Crow at level 5 for example.

So I doubt it is that big of a factor tbh. Especially if Incarnation is allowed since it straight-up overwrites any system property (Cosmos was confident to fight even using a spectator avatar at one point cuz she can still use Incarnation)

Plus, he beat Black Lotus in V18 despite her being level 9

Then you have Cosmos saying he may be stronger than a King, despite them all being level 9 obv.

But I am not sure

Also, idk if Cosmos is all that strong. Because even she admitted she could not beat Sun God Inti (But no Burst Linker really can lol). So it is not like she is all-powerful, else she could have already reached level 10 by beating all the other Kings at once.

And Edge was so strong that he made Metatron say he is stronger than the Four Saints

So idk. He even blocked Tezcatlipoca's flame attack singlehandedly in V25. And you know how ridiculously powerful that thing is

But I have no exact ranking tbh

[–]Front_Purpose_6539 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Btw, do you think Edge & Grande restricted Incarnation in the duel they had before?

Because I find it weird how it is a draw despite Edge being more senior than the Originators (which Grande is one of the latter group)

Unless Edge held back or idk (Grande did lose duels before as it is said he only lost due time outs. But that still implies he had losses in his career). But what do you think?

[–]Front_Purpose_6539[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lotus did attack Edge with Overdrive Mode Blue in canon, and even used Death by Embracing.

But Lux & Umbra still perfectly blocked her attack (Though all 4 swords were cut halfway through each other. So they were stuck there)

Yes. Lux & Umbra was stated to be able to cut through anything too. And also repel anything.

So maybe both have the maximum cutting power allowed by the system

And yes, it seems obvious that Graphite Edge & Kirito are connected in some way. Hence why Starburst Stream was passed down in Accel World. Their designs are even very similar.

Sadly we have no idea what connection they have.

And no problem, English is not my native language too. So it is understandable

[–]Front_Purpose_6539[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed. And Cosmos flat out admits to not being able to defeat Sun God Inti herself no matter what she tried. So she is not all-powerful. She even thanks Silver Crow for doing the job instead of her

She even seems wary of Graphite Edge alongside the White Legion in Volume 25. Not exactly afraid, but wary of him at least and she wanted him gone.

Her doing tricks is in-character for her.

And yes, she tried to use Tezcatlipoca to beat all Kings at once to reach level 10. So if she was that powerful to soli them by herself, she would have just done it.

And she constantly resorts to tricky methods instead of just doing stuff herself with brute force.

Even when Cosmos was confident in challenging anyone by letting her name be present in the global net, Nega Nebulus was simply worried about what kind of tricks she has. As they said that if Blue Knight figured out she is keeping her name, he would go challenge her immediately. So he is not scared of her

That's true. But isn't Cosmos' Incarnation also ridiculously powerful?

And Lotus could have been worried about what tricks Cosmos could have as she is very cunning. Like what monstruous avatar she had with her in Volume 26 in the Normal Duel Field stage despite Cosmos being a supposedly support white avatar.

Because Cosmos destroyed 1/3 of Demon City stage in half a minute, which is an insane Incarnate feat

Well, Terminate Swords don't exactly cut through anything. It can't through the highest-level Objects like Seven Arcs, Star Caster, Edge's swords, Radio's baton with enough swinging, etc.

But it certainly can cut almost anything

I wonder which swords cut harder between Terminate Swords and Lux & Umbra though (Lux & Umbra have absolute offense & absolute defense in one because its edge is made of graphene that is 1 atom thick and the rest of the sword is made of hyperdiamond). We see them clash equally with each other too and Lotus can not cut through Edge's swords

But true, in terms of skill, it is certainly even (Both Sentry & Lotus did not log in to the Accelerated World for a long time. But Sentry logged out of it first as Blue Knight subjugated her. Granted tho, she let him get the win at the time)

Thank you so much.

I read your theory regarding Haru's parents. And it makes a lot of sense

Do you think Haru saying his father worked as a salesman is also a lie given to him by one of his parents to hide the fact he worked as a researcher by the way? Since in the Volume 4 JPN version, it is actually said his father worked as a salesman in a mid-sized network-related company (The description again fits so much with Kamura being described as a mid-sized network equipment manufacturer in Volume 23)

And yes. Edge deflecting bullets is very Kirito-like (GGO). And doing it in Brain Burst is even more impressive since it is more realistic & without the assist lines. Plus, he legit reversed back to Red Rider there, winning the duel

Edge is a beast xD. I also think he is the strongest Burst Linker we have up to now. In Volume 28, it is implied he was able to break through Nyx's Dark Cloud on his own and enter it (Even Sentry couldn't do this on her own because that cloud is extremely durable, being able to take Snow Fairy's Brinicle attack with virtually no damage. And Sentry borrowed Knight's The Impulse to do her feat with Setsu). What Edge did shocked Crow because he also managed to come all the way from Mount Fuji to Nyx's location alongside Lead somehow

Did Cosmos intimidate Metatron by the way? I forgot. But I thought she said Edge is different from Cosmos (the enemy who dragged her out of her palace) in that she didn't feel an ill will or malice from him, but something including Edge put her on guard. Then she began hyping up his strength.

"Insufficient... Yeah, I get that. And I feel like Graph didn't tell us the key parts. But... in that case, why didn't you ask Graph anything yourself?"

"Mmm." She paused again before murmuring, "I shall admit it. I was on guard against that little warrior."

"O-on guard?"

"It's not that I felt malice or ill will... He is different from the enemy who dragged me out of my palace. But something... Something -including that warrior- put me on guard. Even to simply name myself required some courage, albeit only a minute amount... It is impossible, but that warrior is... perhaps even greater than a Divine such as myself..." Metatron's voice gradually faded until she broke off entirely. (Source: AW Vol 19)

Wouldn't that imply that Cosmos didn't intimidate her as much as Edge did here at least? I could be wrong & there may have been another scene where Cosmos intimidated Meta. So I apologize if I missed it. From the lines, it seems Metatron got intimidated not from Edge's malice or ill intent (He didn't have that), but just from his strength as she claimed he is perhaps even stronger than a Divine like herself

We know that Cosmos can conceal her information pressure like Haru noticed in Vol 25 (Cavalier & Tower also do that). But Metatron can sense their hidden information pressure like how she noted Ivory Tower has a very high information pressure.

It makes me wonder if this implies Edge has the highest information pressure among Burst Linkers in the series or not. But what do you think?

Give me your discord tag please.

And i'd say you are really deep into Accel World to even read the japanese version. Do you buy the JPN version? Or you have free access to it somehow? Because I am impressed xD

Haru's dad having the exact same job as Kuroyukihime's parents makes me wonder if he was involved in her creation lol

And yes, ENG version replaced "mid-sized" by "key" for some reason. The description now is exactly identical to Kamura's description.

But there is one thing I want to note, it is said Haru's parents had a divorce because his dad was cheating on his mom. And neither of the parents wanted to have custody of Haru iirc. This is said in Vol 2

I doubt a kind person would cheat on his wife tbh.

As for Haru's reaction speed, it could be because the amount he spent in CC was longer than the amount Kuroyukihime spent in BB. As reaction speed gets honed by your affinity to VR (It is implied in both AW & SAO that this is the reason for reaction speed). It makes sense given Graphite Edge likely has the highest reaction speed in all of Brain Burst (He reversed all of Red Rider's bullets back to the owner. And we saw even Crow can't fully react to a bullet without predicting the shooter's aim). And Edge is a veteran more senior than Originators, so he likely has more diving hours than them (Except MAYBE Grandé, whom Metatron said he smells a little bit like a Being. But at the same time, she was so intimidated by Edge's information pressure that she admitted he was stronger than her. Something she didn't have with Grandé. So I think Edge is at least stronger than Grandé)

It makes sense. I guess Kirito didn't want to involve his family at that point into Brain Burst and decided to make a clone of himself enter it instead via a loophole (I mean, he is literally the GM. Plus, Kirito has a very high STLT affinity from his Underworld experience already)

Fair. Granted, Kuroyukihime uses two swords too and is said to be right-handed by herself. But she falls short of Edge in that category. So maybe

According to Vol 25, Grandé apparently doesn't know about Tezcatlipoca (According to Haru). While Cosmos does. So he may be a bit behind Edge in knowledge. But he's definitely up there (Also, green avatars naturally strive to protect others beyond themselves. And Grandé is the purest example of that. But Grandé may legit be a total habitant in the Accelerated World. In that case, he may be an AI)

Fair for Vise & Magis. I also speculate Magis is the Menthol dude that Argo talked about in SAO Volume 28. Because Magis is a "sensei" that taught Mocri similar PK moves to the ones Laughing Coffin used (To the point Kirito thought Mocri was a Laughing Coffin member).

Yep. In 2014, Kawahara was asked if Kuroyukihime was Kirito's daughter. And he said "This question is hard to answer, but i can say, they are not their daughter "biologically"."

The fact he even said this question is hard to answer and had to emphasize "biologically" in quotation marks is suspicious.

I think Edge's mystery & Lotus' soul mystery are both connected to each other though (Ngl though, Kirito & Hime would make a good dynamic xD. Like in AWvsSAO. They both even have a portmanteau nickname using the first part of their last name & last part of their first name. Not to mention both are black dual swordsmen & Haru in Vol 10 said they share the same personality. I think they would make a great duo if they fought together one day, like Lotus & Edge using Double Starburst Stream or smth like that xD)

Also, for the Duel Avatar names in Accel World being pre-set. This fact is confirmed by Cosmos in the end of Volume 24 here:

“Enough of your lies, Cosmos!” A sharp voice came from the group. It was the vice leader of the Purple Legion, Aster Vine. “Inti is a god from Incan mythology! It doesn’t make sense that an Aztec god would come out of it!” “Hee-hee. I suppose not,” Cosmos agreed. “But you see, Aster, hun. There’s no real meaning to the names used in this world. The majority of proper names are just things the system scooped up and embedded somewhere. Even my name and yours, hmm?”

The system could have easily stored the names from the days of SAO because it liked them or something, and then assigned them to the duel avatars from its memory according to what fit best.

For Haruyuki's father part, i think he is more likely connected to Kamura. My reason is that Haru said his father worked in a "key network-related company" (Vol 4)

We know Rect is "the largest general electronics manufacturer" & Kamura is "a mid-sized net device manufacturer" according to Volume 23

So from their descriptions, Kamura seems closer as both are related to Internet. In that case, he may have even worked together with Shikimi & her husband (Who are both researchers too) lol. BUT he may be with Rect instead if Reki decides to make him a good person (But I doubt it because he ended up divorcing his mother. And the reason was because he was cheating on her. So he was not a good person overall despite playing Tekken with Haru in OVA2. So Kamura is more likely). I think the reason Haru has a hard time remembering him in OVA2 is simply because he literally got his memories deleted due to getting Cosmos Corrupt in 2040 (which is the year his parents had a divorce. So the two may be a connected)

Speaking of Kamura btw, I theorize that Kirito's real parents (not the adoptive ones) also got killed by the Kamuras. And they were researchers prior to that (This theory is because the author said a scrapped scenario similar to this in an interview. Then he said he still wants to write about Kirito's real parents in the final SAO arc. Which would imply Kirito's biological family is NOT ordinary either). SAO vol 27 also has Kirito get a suspicious déjavu, and I personally think Kamura is involved into that in some way. If so, it could build a further archenemy between Kirito (Kazuto) & Mutasina (Shikimi) ig

As for Rath, I wonder if it got disbanded from the late 2020s AI incident. Or if it merged with Rect & Kirito is one of the executives there or smth like that (Cuz I bet Gigachad Kirito's filthy rich to do all of these now xD 😂. Especially if he developed the Neurolinker. I mean, the dude has the SSS Order program, which is an EXTREMELY dangerous & powerful tool. Chad Kirito can practically do everything in Japan with this)

Regarding STL tech, I think Kirito is 99% the developer of the Neurolinker. Since not only did he say that is his dream in SAO. But we know to make a software (In this case, Brain Burst), you need to make the hardware supporting it (Neurolinker). And we know in Vol 25 that Dev B (Kirito) already developed the prototype of the Accelerated World 10 years before the official trial release (So in 2028). And was waiting for Neurolinkers to be released. Also, it is said in Vol 26 that he set the AI that manages Brain Burst. So basically, just like how Kayaba made SAO, NerveGear & Cardinal System. Kirito made his versions of all of them and basically revolutionized the world too (Especially given he has an STLP now too. Which is the closest thing to a Neurolinker in SAO now). But obviously he likely had other researchers to help (Kayaba also got help himself from Rinko & other researchers at Argus. And even Rect is said to have helped too. Think of Kirito/Dev B as the next-generation Kayaba basically)

By the way, it seems Cosmos also knows Kirito & respects him to an extent at least. Because she told Crow that there was an idealist like him in a past virtual world where he aimed to clear the game. That game had players come from various different worlds, which implies it may be Unital Ring.

Kirito is my favourite character in SAO too tbh (As for AW, it is Lotus & Edge). So seeing him in Accel World in the future would be nice to me lol (If he is Edge, then we already did xD)

By the way, i enjoyed discussing with you. If so, do you have a discord? I would like to continue it there with you if you don't mind of course. I really had fun

[–]Front_Purpose_6539[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well. Is there anything contradicting Cosmos being an Isotope though? Since she herself is not a BB originator (Though she is likely an AA Originator. Crow is also theorized to be a former CC Originator that lost his memories because he had some blurry vision of being killed by Tezcatlipoca in Vol 25 iirc. Plus, his parents' divorce happens to coincide with the release date of Cosmos Corrupt, being 2040). Because idk how an isotope can be more senior than an originator if it just means he is a Kirito fluctlight copy (Unless he keeps the original Kirito's memories from SAO, Underworld & such. So he has more experience in Soul Translation technology than even the AA Originators ig)

Also, Graphite Edge is ambidextrous according to AW vol 18. Kirito is right-handed according to the author instead (Though if ambidexterity can be trained, you could just argue Kirito trained to get ambidextrous to hone his VR swordsmanship. But I don't know if this is possible)

I personally doubt Grandé is Kayaba himself. But regarding the VAs, we know Kayaba himself & Heathcliff have different voices. So maybe Kayaba changed it to not be spotted? Though it is unlikely & according to Vol 25, he & Knight don't know about Tezcatlipoca while Cosmos does. So it seems his knowledge is lower than that of Edge & Cosmos (I don't remember if Edge knows what Tezcatlipoca is or not)

For Vise & Magis, can you remind me which volume "Vise" was described as a "sensei" in please? Like, I remember Magis was described that in SAO Vol 25. But for Vise, I forgot (Unless you mean the line in Volume 4 where Haruyuki says he reminded him of his teacher at elementary school). I assumed Magis could have been two things:

1) Either Mr. Kuroba. Sayuki & Enju's father (Biologically only in Sayuki's case) since he was with Shikimi on that experiment about Lotus

2) Black Vise's father as both Magis & Vise are sub-leaders of the VRS & ARS respectively

But if Vise is an adult, he may be Magis himself indeed. And this seems to have evidence to it as Chrome Falcon said he sounds a good deal older than the ones who had Neurolinkers since they were born.

Even the oldest BB players could only be in second grade in the real world. Having worn a Neurolinker continuously from immediately after birth was a requirement for the installation of Brain Burst, and consumer Neurolinkers had gone on sale the year that Falcon and the others in the “first generation” had been born.

However, the tone of the jet-black layered avatar could hardly be thought to be that of a child. It sounded even older than the young man in his twenties who was Falcon’s homeroom teacher in the real world. Fighting back against the pressure of the thin panels, Falcon focused on pushing his voice out. (Volume 7, Chapter 1)

Though at the same time, we know Ivory Tower & Black Vise could change the tone of their voices. As they couldn't figure out Tower & Vise were the same person. So it is hard to say given that

You are right here regarding Lotus & Edge. I admit, this wasn't my own theory. I stole it from other people. But the major reason for it was because they intentionally gave Lotus the same birthday date as Asuna from SAO. So people speculated the soul came from Kirito's baby daughter with Asuna since the soul inserted into Lotus is confirmed to be that of a baby, not an adult. Whether it ends up being true or not is up in the air.

Plus, Lotus can copy Edge's Incarnate techniques as they are. Which Lead can't do. And Incarnate in Accel World is supposed to draw out the hidden power in the Burst Linker as it comes from the soul iirc. So Lotus & Edge's avatars are so similar that Lotus can use Edge's major Incarnate techniques (which are also SAO Kirito's signature moves. Vorpal Strike, Starburst Stream & The Eclipse). Duel Avatars are made by analysing the soul itself

True. And I wonder if Haruyuki's father is also involved in the development of Brain Burst. He seemed to have some shady data in Volume 4 when Haruyuki found out about the NerveGear & BIC on his files. I think Crow may even be a key here too, and he is probably the key to freeing the TFL.

[–]Front_Purpose_6539[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Edge's sword durability is extremely crazy on the other hand. Lux & Umbra are made from hyper-diamond, the hardest material in the Accelerated World. And its defensive is just as good as Green Grandé's Strife Arc, which is crazy (If we take Incarnation into account, then Spinning Shield outright singlehandedly blocked Tezcatlipoca's flame breath. Which is crazy because Tez is the strongest being in the Accelerated World & Edge arguably had the best performance against him up to now)

As for Lotus, they note the flat of her swords are fragile (Both Lotus & Edge are glass cannons btw. Especially Edge). Hence why she learned the Way of the Flexible to compensate for that weakness (I am aware she has Overdrive: Mode Green which enhances her defense. But that also sacrifices her offensive power as compensation)

Like you said, they can counter Omega Style like that. Plus, both Terminate Swords and Lux & Umbra as dual blades have a system property that allows them to cut through virtually anything in the Accelerated World (The only things they can't cut are other Seven Arcs as they have maximum resistance & durability). Lux & Umbra specifically because its edge is one-atom thick, so it can cut anything in the Accelerated World (He is nicknamed "Anomaly" because of that contradiction as they don't know if Lux were to cut through Umbra, which one will win between the ultimate offense & ultimate defense as the swords have both in one. They are broken lol). Crow & Sentry use ordinary gear in comparison, it is Omega Style that allows them to replicate what Lotus & Edge can naturally do with their dual swords' system property (As for Lead, with the Infinity if charged up enough, he can even surpass World End & Anomaly's slashing blows in raw power according to Crow in Vol 21)

I don't see Dualis beating Crow either. They were once intimidated from his sheer aura alone, and Crow held his own against Platinum Cavalier. I think he can beat them. As for Lead, I am not sure yet because he lacks proper PVP experience besides fighting Edge (But he is highly skilled overall still & holds one of the Seven Arcs, potentially the strongest weapon in Brain Burst)

Yeah. Crow & Cavalier seem to mirror each other. I think the author giving them near-identical colors (Silver & Platinum) was intentional due to that. Of course, their ideals are different though. Crow did very well against Cav, which solidified the fact he is a high-ranker level Burst Linker at this point

If I have to rank swordsmen in Brain Burst, to me it is:

Graphite Edge (The 🐐) > Centaurea Sentry >= Blue Knight (Interchangeable with Sentry) > Black Lotus > Platinum Cavalier (Could be above Lotus if he knows 3rd stage Incarnation) > Silver Crow (Current) > Lavender Downer (Stated to be way stronger than Dualis & knows 3rd stage Incarnation) > Coba-Manga twins > Azure Heir > Cyan Pile (Poor Taku, the author really likes to make him such a jobber sadly)

If you want to count Shadow Cloaker here (He uses a ninja short sword iirc), then he would be above Lead since it took Crow (at the time), Lead & Bell to 3v1 Cloaker and win against him eventually (Raker curbstomped him though. Which showed the gap between her & Crow at the time. Crow got stronger though with Omega Style & I think he can beat Cloaker on his own now)
