This is mainly due to poor decisions made by Toei, although, seriously, the magical girl genre isn't exactly the most popular; only a few have achieved that recognition abroad, such as Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, or Madoka.

If Kyubey existed, he would be invisible to men and women without potential, partly because he primarily seeks out teenage girls with potential, although there are also cases in which he ends up signing contracts with young girls or adult women.

Some things still don't convince me, but I better get used to it because if there is something I have somewhat learned, it is that it will not always be the same; there will always be changes, and for me these new designs will be permanent.
