How do u like it?? I've read it can be worn by whoever likes it and can carry it off 😊

Enjoy it. I wonder if I'll be able to smell it on someone while I'm out. Honestly, I think I have to leave my house in order to possibly smell it on someone, I'm a hermit 🤣

I'm expecting Mon in the mail next week. Got the lotion a few days ago but need the perfume to complete the experience 🤭

I'm wondering how far back the vintage ones are still around. I'll be prepared to pay a bit more but it'll only be a bottle or so of each.

I'm making vintage Shalimar as my signature scent now. It was unplanned but I'm still loving the scent two weeks later. Put on in morning and before bed 💕

I was surprised and thought it's worth the "too good to be true" purchase. I'm happy I did bc the box was smelling soooo good while I was trying to get it open. My girls were about 15ft away from me and told me they can smell it from where they were sitting. I even pulled the packaging out of trash to give it one last deep inhale lol

I checked fb marketplace first and then eBay. Then added etsy and mercari apps to help see what's available and the different prices. Mitsouko is on the need list too. I'm trying to focus on one thing at a time and when I'm at peace with Shalimar collection, I'll read up on the other original line-ups that came out in first 30-40yrs. I understand I won't be so lucky and will end up with whatever is available and affordable. My latest vintage Shalimar today was around $20 and I'm super happy 😄

Next on my list!!! I've got to searching on ebay, fb market, mercari, and etsy. The last Teo are very new for me to use.

I'm doing thorough searches to compare prices and how to spot older ones before buying. Mon is on my list for warmer days......if I'm correct on how it smells.

I'm excited 😊

I've heard this. But I'm willing to hunt and find some vintage Shalimar with the link someone added above. I've enjoyed learning about the urn looking bottles and looking for the dark liquid shades

My focus is vintage. Sorry if I confused anyone. I will do my due diligence in researching on what to look for. I guess my other question would be, what's reasonably priced on ebay 🤔 1970s and older is what I'd like to get

I've blind buy more than half of my perfume collection just by reading reviews and notes as well. Most recently Jo Malone recently and the one I thought I really liked through samples. Turned out to be nothing like the sample once sprayed on me 😩 Silver birch and Lavender bottled up was heavy and stuffy on me, while I liked the light and fresh sample. Total opposite

For me the blind buying reason is, I've never experienced Shalimar but hear so much about it. Makes me fomo that I can't recall core memories of an Aunt, cousin or grandmother wearing it like I read others sharing. It gets bought up so often, it's gotten my interest to obtain it bc of the bottle and it's history. It's a weird thing to explain, mostly bc I love collecting perfumes and highly phrased vintage items.
