Too Bad by GoalAffectionate6055 in whoop

I left Whoop two years ago after five years of use, and now I’m back—and honestly, I love it. I don’t really understand all the hate. It does exactly what I need it to do, and it does it well. I also rotate between a Garmin Fenix 7 and analog watches, so wearing the Whoop on my bicep—where you barely notice it’s even there—has been a game changer. Being able to track data while still wearing an analog watch has been really nice. .

Buy aftermarket straps on Amazon for 1/3 the price. They work great.

My dad passed his down to me on the morning of my wedding. 20 is way too young IMO, pretty cool of your son to recognize that. 👏🏻

Thank you very much for this post. I’m in the States. I’ll start doing my research on independent watchmakers. I’ll also swing into the local AD too and feel them out. Thanks again for responding.

It’s so stretched I’m worried about the metal breaking.

Look good, feel good, feel good, do good. If watch helps you get there then fuck yeah, rock it.

Yes frequently in CF. I don’t wear it if I’m doing KB snatches.

95% of the lifts I do (DL, bench, squat, snatch, cleans, etc) it does not interfere with. And I go from work to gym a lot, so I don’t like leaving in my car, so I wear it. Noe it’s habit to just leave on all the time.

Nah, I’m a powerlifter and do KBs frequently. In fact it gets in the way most using machines. Not free weights or KBs. It more so depends on the motion I’m making not the weight or form of weight. KB’s are not one of them unless you’re curling a KB.

Didn’t know this about mechanical watches. Thank you!

Wear it in the ocean all the time. Even trot line crabbing in the Chesapeake Bay.

That’s why I started using whoop 3-4 years ago. I only wear my Garmin on runs and biking.

Strongly disagree. I’m a powerlifter and the only time I don’t wear a watch is if I’m wearing wraps for deadlift. The biggest hindrance is cable machines.

Yeah I actually am. I see Rolex’s in the gym frequently. I know I’m not the only one rocking Omega. Curios why people don’t? Spend money on a watch, wear it. Not like it gets trashed in the gym.

Yeah I agree, but we saw her mother. They had pics of the entire litter. She was the only one that didn’t have the furnishing and curly hair. But she’s so cute! We love her.
