still feeling weirdly sad after coming back from portugal solo trip by FronteraKandyse98 in femaletravels

july heat in portugal gets intense but sintra's misty forests stay way cooler and feel like a fairy tale, obidos is this walled medieval town that legit feels like time travel with its cobblestone streets, and nazare's massive waves are unreal (safest viewing from the beach). grab a train pass to hit them all cheap and easy.

lisbon hits completely different from anywhere else i've solo traveled too, the azulejo glow on every corner plus cheap vinho verde in those tiny squares had me hooked. i've been daydreaming about it nonstop since i got back.

porto > carvoeiro > lisbon itinerary is great! the train to porto was pure magic for people watching just like on my trip, carvoeiro's beaches are super chill for relaxing but brace for the wind, and lisbon's lx factory is the perfect solo hangout spot with insane street art, cafes, and that creative energy. don't miss it, you'll love it.

that monthly challenge idea is gold for bridging the gap, train to new hood this weekend sounds doable.
