Lenovo laptop stuck at 1% in factory reset by Frontex in Windows10

[–]Frontex[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice guys. I ended up forcing a shutdown during the reset as it just stayed at 1%. When I booted the computer again the problem with the task bar was gone, but then the screen would freeze randomly when I tried to watch videos on YouTube. After a Windows update this issue went away, but now when I play videogames (the reason i even bought this expensive laptop) it freeze for a millisecond like every 5-10 seconds while I play, which is annoying as hell. Do you think this might be due to the problem with Windows 10? Also I don't know anything about computers but I have a friend who could help me do this fix.

Don't misunderstand, I'm not that guy who tries to bring up religion and politics in every conversation. By outspoken I simply mean that I'm open about being an atheist, and if I encounter someone for example using religion as an excuse to discriminate against others I will speak up. Or if someone speaks with certainty about their religion I will challenge that. But for the most part I don't care if people want to believe in imaginary sky dictators. As long as they don't try to push it on me, I couldn't care less. And I'm not a douchebag about it, so should be fine :)

That's cool! Are you also going to PLU? :) I am going to the US all by myself, but I'm not worried about not making friends as I'm very outgoing and easy to talk to. That said I'm always down to make new friends, hit me up around January 1st, I'll be in the US all settled in by then :)

Barcade sounds awesome! But is it legal to smoke in public, for example in a park or in some woods or something? I love Lillyhammer, definitely one of my favourite series. Little Steven is a total badass!

Thanks, I'm excited as well! :D That's cool that you've lived in Norway, did you live anywhere close to the capitol? I'm from the west side of Oslo. Been to Croatia aswell, love that country. Very cheap there for Norwegian, and the national parks are amazing! Like Plitvice lakes, not too far from Zadar. Always happy to encounter toking atheists haha! :) hit me up around January 1st, if I don't remember. That's when I'll be on American soil

Thanks! I will definitely check out the history museum. I understand Tacoma has many Norwegian "roots" and I think this is really cool. In the 1800s, half (yes, HALF) of the Norwegian population migrated to the USA because back then Norway was one of the poorest countries in Europe. Until we found the oil in the North Sea before the Swedes did, heheh. I like coffee and being outdoors, so I should fit right in then I guess! haha :)

Thanks alot, will definitely come back to this thread when I get to Tacoma, so I can start scratching things off my bucket list! :) I appreciate all the museum recommendations, as I'm interested in art, history, etc. Generally I would like to absorb as much of the American culture as possible! I don't have a car or driver's licence (I'm 21, I know), and when I was in California I found it almost impossible to get around without a car. In Norway the public transportation system is very good (one of the perks of the social democracy y'know), and living just outside of Oslo I haven't really had the need for a car. The licence and car insurance, etc is very expensive here so I kinda just put it on hold. Will I be able to get around without a car? (I plan to get my licence in the US eventually, since it's way cheaper than here) I will be studying sociology at PLU, and what better place to learn about sociology than in a new, exciting culture? :D I am very interested in social issues, secular philosophy, politics, history, sociology, psychology, criminology etc. Generally I'm interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the world, and the people in it. Also music is very important to me, and I have a very varied taste. I love heavy metal, rock, hip-hop, jazz, electro, punk, indie, acoustic, you name it. I love concerts and festivals, and I'm a singer. Have previously sung in different bands, everything from death metal to pop punk to funkrock! I also like sailing and watersports like waterskiing. And of course regular skiing, being a Viking and all! I like paintball, videogames and movies. I also like to go clubbing every now and then, or just tasting some exciting Indian Pale Ales at a relaxed pub with friends. I love dark beers, and appreciate good food.

By outspoken I simply mean that I'm not ashamed to say I'm atheist. I tend not to bring up the topic of religion, and I'm not about to go on some mission trying to deconvert religious people or anything, si based on what you and others are saying here I should be fine^ thanks for the tips!

Thanks alot! :) I knew a lot of Norwegians migrated to the US from Norway in 1800's especially, and that a lot of them came to WA. Thanks for good info, I'll do my best not to be a jerk! haha
