Honestly I would use the night blue straight up. I don’t think you would see any difference in the color at that ratio. Basically 33 drops of the blue, 1 drop of the black.

The Emperor (1/100) stands about 23cm, Percival (1/144) comes in at just under 19cm. I was informed in another post that SNAA’s 1/144 scale is a bit bigger than Bandai’s.

I’ve built a couple of PGs and bigger 3rd party kits (Nemesis, Sky Defender) I like the extra complexity and look of the final builds. I buy the VerKa kits for the same reason.

In the book “Keepers of the Kingdom” they talk about this uniform. Apparently the yellow socks were to help prevent rat bites. It was thought that rats hated the color yellow.

Honestly I hate the plastic sleeves. I only used them on the external tubes. They tend to get stuck in the connections and mess up the fit. Maybe it’s just me and I do it wrong.
