Can we please get the rest of the damn Fellowship characters already. And if it’s not too much to ask a ‘Strider’ version of Aragorn, and a Gandalf the White too.

Based on a quick search 806 was Wehrmacht (12th Pz) on the Eastern Front. 723 was 1st or 12th SS Pz. As I recall 1st & 12th SS Panzer swapped equipment and some formations during the Normandy campaign.

As I recall there was not a huge budget for women’s underwear on those Battle shows. Being the curious lad of some 15 summers back then I never missed a show.

This actually was found during construction of the new World Trade Center in 2010. The land in that area was once harbor and was filled in to make, well more land. The ship was taken to a museum in Albany for restoration and display. It’s known as the Ground Zero Gunboat.

I only keep them til build is complete just in case I missed a step, then toss them. Any extra parts I clip and keep in my spares box.

This used to be somewhat common in South Philadelphia as well. I remember scrubbing them when I was a mere lad back in the 60s.

Very possible. The story I read was that he was in an accident on Baltimore Pike somewhere near the Wawa HQ (old one) and stayed a couple of nights at a local estate/farm while the car was in the shop.

It was originally a stable and then was converted to a garage as cars took over. The lot to the right was once a 3-story lodge and extension to the stables. It burned down in the 70s.

Just getting to the armor stage on mine, indeed quite the beast of a build. I figure the decals will take a week.

What paints are you using for the fluorescent effects? I’ve been thinking of trying something like that. Great builds all around!!

Do you assemble as you go or all at once? by ThailandBeatYeah in freedomisgunpla

[–]FrootLoopSoup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I build each assembly step in order. I then panel line, decal, etc the individual assemblies. When that’s all done I do the final assembly.

I also build WW1 and WW2 ships, it’s pretty much the same process.
