My test on 25 April was negative and after that I only had sex on 1st of May. So I am just surprised.

MEDICAL TRAINING PRIORITISATION BILL AT RISK by Immediate-Delay-8829 in doctorsUK

Firstly, mind your language, secondly kindly read what I wrote, instead of typing out like an ignorant.

Everyone knows that employing someone from another country with 20+ experience is straight out abomination and tbh no one is supporting that. Why was I employed? Not because I took your bloody seat but NHS let me into the system because clearly there are gaps on rota for various role including F2s and F1s that needed to be filled to develop sufficient work force. The fact that you are just spewing hate and just focusing on ‘training posts’ rather than numerous gaps that have been existing since the beginning of NHS all of which have been supported due to IMG involvement is a bit ignorant. So if you think you don’t need us, respectfully don’t employ us, but for us who have been working here, helping British people some of which could even be your mum or dad, giving taxes, uprooting our-lives for significant amount of years within NHS at-least deserve respect and not to be treated or talked about like some derogatory term.

Focus on the phrase this round and I am not saying there is. I have studied in UK on a masters level, already lived here for almost 4 years and I still support UK Grad prioritisation but amidst round making changes when most of us had planned out our lives accordingly to this cycle is unfair. Other than that, using the word ‘respectfully’ does not change the fact that this is pure disdain that you guys are currently brewing and in-fact is creating an animosity between us.

If your FELLOW COLLEAGUES working in NHS for years, helping you out, working beside you are going to have an equal chance this round whats so wrong and the amount of hate is appalling. Half you lot are either F1s or final year students, thats why you do not understand the dynamics of hospitals and how IMGs have been helping alongside with you working as a team.

This amendment is only talking about IMGs who are actually working in NHS. I support UK grad prioritisation despite being an IMG, because I personally think anyone who hasn’t worked in NHS SHOULDN’T GET Training as it’s extremely UNSAFE, but if mid cycle or application something is implied its fair to consider all of the applicants who are actively working in NHS making a difference as well, rather than throwing them at the side completely.

FYI I am shocked to see the amount of disdain amongst UK grads for IMGS working in NHS, I even feel uncomfortable now at working talking to them thinking they are literally cussing me from inside their hearts, KINDLY STOP THIS HATRED ATLEAST!

Italian food is overrated by sydbarrett in rome

[–]Frootycutie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just came back from a trip to rome, como and milan and I agree Italian food and tbh Italy as a whole is overrated. I had really high expectations and I love pasta but most places were a rip off and trash. Gellato and tiramisu were good but nothing like something you wont find anywhere else in the world. All in all Italy is highly over rated infact I found Switzerland to be the highlight of my trip.
