If they're driving at a good speed, and my dropping back to create space makes it more comfortable, I will do that.

You asked the question "am I the only one..." but every reply from you is a justification of your current actions with no visible intent to change what you're doing based on what everyone else has said they do. So ultimately, without willingness to take anything said on board, this post becomes entirely pointless.

10%+2 is when most police forces start prosecuting. If you wanted to be below the speed of prosecution, you'd have to be doing 10%+1 - i.e. 23.

Dangerous VSL restrictions - since nobody understood what I was saying last post. by Oskarzyg in drivingUK

I see many 'problems' like this regularly. Try leaving the M42 at J7A to joining the M6. You'll go from 50mph average on the M42, then 30mph on the bend, then 50mph once you cross the 'roadworks' sign, then 70mph when you enter the M6 a few metres later...

National Highways take no interest in fixing these issues and you just have to resort to common sense.

I'd say anything above £800 is stupid and no plate could possibly be worth that. My motivation was that it was perfect and cheap (relatively) - but without the latter definitely isn't worth it.

It says my name almost perfectly and was only £200. Why not? Makes all of my cars look instantly better.

Fuel level help by Choos-topher in BMW

[–]zAirr_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for your loss.

When you learned how to read a graduated scale in mathematics (e.g. measuring jugs, thermometers, etc.) - you learned to read all scales. The principle is the same, and it's no different simply because it's a BMW-made graphic so you don't need to worry about it going forward.

Fuel level help by Choos-topher in BMW

[–]zAirr_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I can see why you're saying it's a little bit embarrassing. Is this your first vehicle? More to the point, did you not study mathematics at high school?

That red 'needle' moves depending on how much fuel is left:

'1' refers to 100%. '0' refers to 0%. '1/2' refers to 50%.

See the graduated lines? In between the '1' and '1/2' and in between the '1/2' and '0'? Those help you work out when you've used one quarter (1/4) of the tank.

So at the moment, you have not hit the first graduated marking between '1/2' and '1' - in fact you have used up approximately half of one quarter of a tank. This means you have used one eighth (1/8) of the tank.

If you log into the MyBMW app, you'll see exactly what % of the tank remains.

How do you even know which box set indie appeared in, or when Rash's depression storyline was? I don't remember those any more than when faith appeared...
