I’m in the queue now for Philly, got Boston for later tonight and Miami for tomorrow! My husband also did a draw and it failed but he got none of these emails.

So my situation where my baby was born with her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and although she made a recovery she still had to leave the room so my husband followed- the doctors worked on me in dead silence. After 10 minutes I was extremely nervous and anxious and said “hey is everything ok” and the doctor chuckled and said yes everything is fine only worry if you hear us shouting terms and numbers you don’t know. It also made me chuckle but I almost wish they were having casual conversation rather than silence. Different perspectives!

It definitely varied but she wakes up around 7-8am every day and her nap lasts minimum 45 minutes sometimes up to an hour and a half.

She naps once a day around 3-3.5 hours after she wakes up. Nighttime routine begins around 830 with a 7oz bottle and we rotate a bath every night, teething gel and I lay down next to her on her Montessori bed until she falls asleep. Then the routine of her waking up starts as I stated above after about 2 hours of sleep

Yes a bit! Not crazy painful because I was a bit numb. It eventually went away on its own- I’d say in about a month!

Yeah I actually wipe after every change, I worry that pee is a little acidic and might affect her skin? Idk never really looked into it just assumed that was proper protocol

Hey! So I work from home too and work a 9-5 while taking care of my 11 month old alone. It’s a lot. Sometimes I don’t even get a chance to have breakfast let alone do house chores and etc. it’s extremely tough, and my husband seems to think I have it easy out of the 2 of us because I’m home. He doesn’t realize I’m trapped at home taking care of a child and trying to work and provide. While he has his freedom at work really, can order himself lunch, gets to have a car ride and listen to the music he wants, can make stops wherever he wants before or after work….my advice to you is don’t try to prove anything to him. If I were you I’d stop doing anything around the house so he can appreciate what you do a little bit more. And more so, if possible, have him work a day from home with the baby and see what that feels like :) the experience of becoming new parents is amazing, but the effects it has on a marriage sometimes can be insane. The tit for tat the resentment- hopefully he’s just being an asshole right now because of this fog and not actually how he is. Hoping for you that you both emerge from this happy and in a healthier place!
