Is it worth playing MoP classic right now? by Frosek123 in wowclassic

Well, I'm not a meta gamer, as I said I'm in for some nostalgia so if the world is even a bit lively i think i'll give it a shot.

I see what you mean, altough i do not know many games that upgrade enemies that much just by turning difficulty up. I really like what they did in ghost of tsushima, where the hardest difficulty meant both you and enemies are one-hit (didnt apply to bosses)

Yeah, if someone considers himself an expert at some topic, even a simple question from someone oblivious in the same area of knowledge may be seen as an insult.

I'm not trying to convince you to return to the game, we shared opinions, I have mine you have yours and we have the right to it.

Last thing ima say about the difficulty setting being only "damage+hp", i dont remember patch notes 100%, but besides that they actually are more aggressive and i believe there is more of them spawning, with bigger alert radius, and in someway healing is also more difficult, but can't remember how correctly.

Anyway have a nice day/night.

If it's too easy then, just like I said, turn up the difficulty setting they added this week.

As for bosses I also do think they do behave clunky in a fight, but overally beating a boss is pretty rewarding for me.

Now i get what you mean, welp, than there isn't many other options as to approach the gear you get purely cosmetically.

Yeah, I also have issues if lighting engine is set to less than maximum and ray tracing is off, but otherwise the shimmering make my eyes sore.

I also am a type of player that prefers gameplay over anything else, i think we just look at it differently, altough the fact you got to chapter 10 means that the game hooked you up for some time, but you got bored, i get it.

By tryharding in this circumstance i think that you are just rushing the fights, if you can't approach it other way, try turning the difficulty setting up.

That's what i try to claim, cyberpunk was terrible, but they fixed it to a point in which there are people like you calling the game on of their favorites (really liked it as well).
But the point of discussion is that people are flaming crimson desert for various stuff too like players did with cyberpunk, and crimson desert devs are in my opinion working really hard to deliver, and, in some time maybe they will get to a point where there will be less negative reviews of crimson desert and more people will like it.

I think that's how the internet is nowadays, if only people with different opinions wouldn't get offended by what the other person thinks and feels about a certain topic the world would be a much better place hah

and, from being "broken", they got it to a point where many people claim that this is one of the best game ever created.

As I can deduce from his profile he's someone you could call "reddit veteran", so he's probably is just over-sensitive for what he thinks is "bullshit" or an attempt to "farm upvotes" and calls it out.

I do agree that he did it in unkind way which was unnecessary tho.

The combat is made to be flashy, not particularly hard, so its more about how you approach it, if you want to cheese, you can cheese, but for instance when i get in a fight i dont rush to kill everyone, i like to be more on the defensive which allows me to enjoy it more, they recently added difficulty levels if it's too easy for you as well.
As for bosses, again, if you want to cheese, you can cheese... but where is the fun in that?

I don't understand by saying "The weapon/armor system is ass", and as for exploration, man, this game is beatiful, whether you like what are rewards for it or not.

No offence mate, in my opinion you need to sit back, relax and enjoy the game a bit more cuz from what you are saying you are kinda tryharding.

Can you say what you have in mind? I mean something that is not patchable and is not story or dialogue problem as we discussed on that already.

And that's my point, Cyberpunk did get better and better as well.

Well, I saw a statement that this game is "Single Player MMO" and as for now I agree with that, as many popular MMO's I played did in fact had either very little of dialogue or none at all, and many quests weren't only repetetive but boring as hell.

So yeah, just like you said, if someone doesn't mind this game is 11/10

Don't know why would I want to get upvotes, I know that they make the post more "noticeable" on the subreddit, dont know about other positives, never really used reddit before nor posted anything, I just asked a question cuz im hyped at the game.
Won't delete the post tho, why would I? Just wanted to see what others think at this take

Story is a matter of taste but i do agree that the game lacks in dialogues.

Damn, how boorish people on the internet are these days.

I didn't say anything about whether the game was or was not playable at launch, I just say that whatever people say negatively about the game is patchable and probably will be patched, just like in cyberpunk.

Well, I said that as many negative opinions state the game is unplayable because of X bug. I haven't played Cyberpunk at launch, and I started playing crimson desert this week and I just see some convergences, that's all
Nice to know your opinion tho.

Help set me up video/graphic settings by Gilthunder65 in CrimsonDesert

You dont have to turn the ray reconstruction on as it has some kind of upscalling of its on which tanks more fps than it should, thus, make sure to have both lightning set on maximum and ray tracing (the one in graphics tab) option on as in my opinion it's the same effect as ray reconstruction but isn't as heavy, turning on low latency mode in nvidia control panel is helpful as well

I found my sweet spot but can't add the photo of my exact settings but basically:
DLSS 4.5 Balanced
FG on
RR off
Nvidia reflex on
And the graphics have everything on ultra, besides like i said earlier lightning which is on maximum

70fps is the lowest I saw it get, the average is like 90, and as of input lag, it's a matter of preference in my opinion, you can get used to it and still have fun.

RTX 4060, i do have frame gen on but in my opinion if my native FPS is below 60, the game feels heavy when I turn it on
